Crowne Health Care of Thomasville

My mother has been a resident for almost 3 years now. The staff is always polite and helpful. The aids treat her very kindly and are patient with her. She had a project of tending to flowers outside the facility. She enjoyed every moment and has numerous compliments on her flowers. She hasn’t liked the food much except breakfast and it’s always good to her. My only complaint is the bathing room. My mother complains that it needs updating and heat. I appreciate all of the love, kindness and friendships that she has had since she has arrived at the facility. 💕

My 91 year old mother received kind and compassionate care here. She was offered ample opportunities for entertainment and absolutely loved the food. Her medical needs were always addressed in a timely manner and any concerns we had were taken seriously and investigated thoroughly. We can highly recommend Crowne Healthcare of Thomasville.

My mother was a resident at CHC for the months of her life. She was always treated with kindness by the staff. Her aids were excellent with her, very gentle and caring.

I finally get a chance to write a positive review of Crown Health Care of Thomasville, AL. My mother of 82 years old was a resident of CHC for over a year before recently passing away. My two (2) brothers and I received a call from our Hospice representative from CHC that my mother’s time was coming and to get to the facility as soon as possible. We spent approximately a hour with her before she took her last breath and drifted away. The one thing that bothered her about going to CHC was that she would be alone. Well, she wasn’t and had three (3) of her four (4) sons with her when she passed away. The care that she received was absolutely Top notch from top to bottom especially starting with Ms. Diane Gatlin. I appreciate everything CHC staff provided my mother for over last year of her life. They are providing my mother with great care during her rehab from knee surgery. The staff are very kind and accommodating.

I have lived in Crown Nursing Home for 14, years and they have been very good to me.

My sister in law was sent to the Thomasville facility for rehabilitation. She suffered a dual fractured pelvis and was sent by ambulance from the hospital. After about ten days they talking my brother into changing her status as a rehabilitation patient to a long term patient. Within the hour they immediately sent her to the hospital where they put her in the psychiatric ward. She suffers from dementia and at times is combative but they knew this before her arrival at the nursing home. After being in the geriatric psychiatric ward for 8 days ( on a Monday) they released her from Demopolis Hospital. Upon release Crowne Nursing home informed my brother they had given away her bed til Thursday leaving her no place to go but back home with her fractured pelvis. In my opinion i believe they did all this because my brother was there every day visiting his wife the love of his life. I think this home is not equipped for loving family members and patients with dementia.
