This place needs to be closed down. Was not greeted at the receptionist desk or security guard .The staff was not aware of my wife being admitted there, all they knew was what room she was going to. She was put in the room with no instructions, and left alone. The restroom was filthy and there was a wash cloth with brown substance in the sink with the water running on it. The commode lift was rusted and moldy. If I could rate this a 0, I would. I didn’t even think about leaving my wife alone there.

My mom stayed in Crowne after a fall with a fractured hip. She had pain but was still forced to undergo painful therapy which was too much for a 93-year-old. Not only that, there was no care taken to revent a bed sore. They tried to say she had one when she came there from the hospital, but that was not true. On top ofvthat, at 2 am one morning, she couldn't sleep and she had to yell for help because her call button had been put. Over her head out of he reach. That really infuriated my family and me. That was just cruel. I wish I could give no stars.

I've experienced rudeness from the staff both day and night I was treated like I am mentally challenged. The administration seems like they are trying to get paid twice for bills that medicare supplemental insurance already covered. . Also was given a hard time when visiting . Been married to that man for thirty five years was told I couldn't sit on his bed. All around this place hasn't been at all professional . More geared toward getting as much money as they can albeit from the insurance ,medicare and the family ie: the patient if possible ,they also don't include my husband in activities They left him in the room during A easter party ,he eats in the room inst even asked if he would like to eat in the dining room. Patient care is almost nonexistent.

My experience has been awful. I have had to communicate the needs of my mom over and over and over. The nurses on the 'dementia' unit are not well trained and do not understand the disease. Upon admission, I asked if I needed to bring my mother's medication, I was told no. So one month in, I was told I was being billed for medication for that I can obtain free. The staff needs training ASAP! The director is rude and lacks appropriate communication skills. The admissions director and the receptionist are great. I had to BEG to get my mom's hair washed.

My father has had to stay in several rehabilitation facilities over the years due to many health issues. He just finished his third stay at Crowne. This is our #1 choice, and the only facility we will use in the future if needed. The staff has always been kind to my father and they have always treated him well. They have always been respectful, and they are truly interested in helping him improve and gain strength. They have a heart for what they do, and I'm so grateful to be able to trust them with my father. Ann and Leslie are both amazing and were super helpful in every way!! Definitely recommend this place!!

I am the sponsor for my brother who has Alzheimer's. He has been in a couple of other facilities and I can tell you - by far - Crowne the best facility of all the other facilities that I have observed. I am extremely pleased with the quality of care that he has received in the time he has been a resident. I believe that this facility works to care for my family member as a partner in their care and not just "a job". The staff is always willing to assist and the biggest plus is that they are staffed appropriately to handle the resident population. The meals are well balanced and my brother seems to enjoy everything he is served. The staff on Hall 1 where my brother was initially admitted was outstanding. He is now on Hall 3 in her permanent room and the staff there is equally as attentive and on top of everything that he needs. Kudos to Shambray, Linda, Johnnie and Christine from the nursing staff. I can't say enough about the CNAs and their dedication to their work. Many have been there for many years and truly do everything they can to make the residents comfortable. Thanks for an excellent experience and assuring me that my loved one is being given the best of care.

Staff is very unprofessional and rude to people when checking in on their people. By Director of nursing is very nasty and need to check her attitude.
