I loved the little extra touches this team has added to make this center stand out compared to others. This amazing team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to the residents in their care. Country Club has rehabilitation care, long term care, as well as an amazing residential care unit.

I want to say with me working at country club many years, I am happy to say most staff go above and beyond. I have worked from the bottom of the ladder to the top not just once. I have done it twice. Well almost to the top. I am saying I give it my all for my residents. I can put a smile on a resident who is always down. We have great activities every month. I also get them to sing karaoke every month during the monthly birthday party. I have grown on some family members. They trust me with their loved one. Whenever someone has a question they come to me. I will tell you that no one is perfect but we try our hardest. I love to go and beyond for all of them. There are some that you do get attached too and there are some you don’t however you still have to care of them like if they were your parent. Growing up I didn’t learn the caring side from my parents. I learned from my grandmother. She was the best. While she was sick I was the only one who took care of her until she passed away. This is what got me into the Nursing. I want the residents to feel at home. Because it might be their last home before death. There are people out in this world that only work for the money. This is a hard job and its not for everyone They aren’t cut out to do it. You have to have a heart not a pocketbook. I also have seen a lot of resident pass away without any family there. Let me tell you I would be there for them so they aren’t alone. I have had a few passed away with me holding their hand. I want everyone to know there are people who work into nursing for the love of the resident. I want to say this is my home too. You don’t know how many cards I have received from the resident themselves. I have started a binder with all of their art work. I have a plaque that has an angel in it and one resident went around and had all residents sign it and I received it for a Christmas present. This is worth more to me than any money in the world. The moral of ny story is Country Club Rehab is there for the residents. We want them to feel like we are their family so they won’t be afraid while there. Our rehab department does a wonderful job. There have many residents that have came into our facility for therapy and got strong enough to go home. We are in the process of making a new therapy gym. The gym will look and feel like home while you are there. Just know that we are there for our residents. Thank you reading my story. I could say more but I just wanted to let you know what is I. My heart and why I love working at Country Club Rehab.

I want to say that I come to this facility to see friends and I can say it don’t smell like a nursing home. I want to give a shot out to Linda Headley and Krystal Landon for trying to make the building like a home

My grandmother was treated so poorly and lost 40 pounds in 2 months. They would not help her to the bathroom. They would say she didn't really have to go, and then she would soil herself. She was admitted into the E.R. after 2 months staying there. She was so dehydrated that her liver was failing. She had bed sores that had not been treated in over 24 hours because "they didn't have time." They placed my grandmother in assisted feeding, but when I snuck behind the wall and watched, the nurses were gossiping, while my grandmother struggled to try and pick up a fork. A review was posted on a Facebook page called "Review the Burg." Laura, the director, made a comment calling everyone who gave a bad review uneducated and liars. She also claimed they are top rated. I did my research, and they are the lowest rated in Warrensburg.
