I absolutely love Cottonwood and their staff. My grandma is in such good, loving hands and that means the world to me!

I just spent two 10 hr shifts here this weekend as part of a required training for my certified nurse assistant class. I am in my mid 40’s and looking for a new career (I mention this to show that I’ve experienced elder care for my loved ones). I didn’t know if I was a person who would feel comfortable in a nursing home environment doing all the nitty gritty care but this experience was life changing. The staff was amazing. They work very hard and care deeply for each patient. I heard the word “love” spoken often from the staff. They knew so many details off the top of their heads about each resident’s likes and dislikes. The patients were so fun. And they were happy and well cared for. The food is homemade, I ate several meals there and they were very good. Also, I was impressed with the care taken to give each resident a choice in whatever they wanted to eat if they didn’t want the daily special. A patient wanted a cheeseburger way after dinner time and he was so happy when I got to deliver him a homemade cheeseburger. There were Covid cases who were quarantined and I got to witness and participate in the great care given to these patients as well as the preventative measures taken. The building is in the shape of a circle with a lovely courtyard in the middle. The décoré of the entire place is warm and cozy. The patients have large, individual rooms which they have each personalized with furniture, books, plants, etc., to make it like a little home. I got to observe physical therapy on several patients and was so impressed. They even have a therapy pool. They have crafts and activities and outings that are available by choice. The resident to staff ratio is so much better than other places that I’ve seen and I could see first hand what a big difference that made in resident well-being and care as well as staff well-being. Most of the staff that I talked to, even the laundry and kitchen staff, commute a long way and left other jobs to work at Cottonwood. I highly recommend this place for rehabilitation and long-term care. I would trust them with my loved ones.

I was there after a fall. The place is very clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. Food was delicious, but sometimes had to wait too long to be taken back to your room after a meal. Nurses were very caring. I found the rehabilitation was consistent and had good results for some. Nurse assistants were helpful, friendly but talked to each other more than the patient. Made you feel invisible... All in all a good place to recover.

Cottonwood Inn is wonderful, they work their tails off to keep each and every person that walks through their doors happy and comfortable. They have a beautiful layout with a private courtyard, and they cook all of their meals as fresh as possible. They make it feel like home.

Cottonwood staff are AMAZING. Everyone goes above and beyond to care for both the patients and residents. The care provided in this facility starts with the Administrator, DON and management team and shines through their staff!

Nurses stay away from this place because staff are treated so poorly by management. They lie.

The staff at Cottonwood are so warm and welcoming! The facility is clean, and organized and the residents look so happy!!
