I didn’t know about Cortica before a friend shared her experience and how they helped her son. I got online immediately and had such an easy and smooth experience making an appointment. From the moment I got onto their website until the end of my first telehealth appointment for my son, and the followup information too, the online process and those who I’ve spoken directly to has been a breeze AND so helpful already! We only have had our initial appointment but I’m so hopeful for what the next steps will bring in supporting my son and his neurodivergence as well as supporting us as parents navigating this often challenging journey. I’m so grateful for learning about Cortica and their kindness, empathy and support already!! Thank you for existing and seeing the other side of neurotypical…such a needed and welcomed resource!!

Everyone I have encountered at Cortica has been extremely warm, informative, supportive, and proactive. They took their time to fully understand my child’s needs. Their follow up has been prompt. Someone patiently reviewed the estimated cost of services with me, which helped me be more informed about what appointments to prioritize. And we were able to get care pretty quickly. Accessing healthcare elsewhere has been challenging, but working with Cortica has been a breath of fresh air. Grateful to partner with the care team here.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Mary Steele's for nearly two years. Her patient-centered, personalized care has made such a huge difference for our family. Dr Steele was very thorough in the evaluation of our child.she provided excellent recommendations and seemed to truly care about the treatment plan. She did everything virtually, which I thought would present challenges; however, it was as if we were in person. I highly recommend Cortica for any families seeking additional help and resources.

The office was very kid friendly as well as the staff. I was able to get an appointment and evaluation for my toddler much earlier than UCSF. The visit was professional, quick, and efficient. I am very pleased.
