Cornerstone Physical Therapy

Jeff and his staff were wonderful. I was treated twice by Jeff, once after a car accident and then after I broke my arm. Professional, and couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Recommend highly.

I have ran into a few "Karens" since I moved here 6 months ago. Several of these Karens having issues with the color of my skin. Nothing new for me but my 1st visit with Cornerstone PT was a bit distrubing. I arrived about 15 minutes early. Person standing at a counter taking a few seconds to acknowledge me, inquired if I had an appt, in which I replied Yes in English. She the asked me to have a seat, a few seconds more aske me my date of birth in English, which i then answered. A few seconds later Jeff the PT walks up quick chit chat with the person that 1st addressed me when I walked in, some discussion transpired, equipment moved around. When Jeff turns around and asks me in English, if I spoke English. I relunctantly answered yes, in English, being taken a back that I was asked if I spoke English. Jeff then responds how much English, a lot or a little. Really, if i was white, with a non spanish name would he have asked me that question? Why did he not just asked if I spoke Spanish, I would have answered no because I don't. I have lived life time with this type indirect racism and assumptions. Jeff I understand you may serve many Mexican or Spanish clients but many would request a Spanish speaker. Next time don't make assumptions based on a persons name or the color of their skin, these stereotypes continue to perpetuate this type of ignorance.

He is the best of the best. He treated my whole body, mind and spirit. Jeff treated me for an accident where trauma emotionally needed to be addressed. I would recommend Jeff to anyone who has had trauma. Thank you so very much I appreciate the awesome work you do, and the care you pour out for others
