Life-Changing Care at CORE Physical Therapy! I cannot recommend CORE Physical Therapy, and specifically Debra Steward, enough. After nearly five years of debilitating lower back pain caused by scoliosis, I had almost given up hope. For years, I had tried everything—chiropractic care, physical therapy at another clinic, x-rays, acupuncture, yoga, and finally an MRI that revealed my condition. But even after receiving a diagnosis, I was told by a spine surgeon that there wasn’t much to be done beyond painkillers and avoiding strenuous physical activity. Thankfully, I refused to accept that as my reality. My proactive search for a better solution eventually led me to CORE Physical Therapy, and that’s where everything changed. From my very first session with Debra Steward, I could tell she was exceptional. With over 25 years of experience, she quickly pinpointed the source of my pain without me even telling her. What stood out was not only her expertise but also the time she took to educate me about what was happening with my body. Her explanations gave me clarity and, more importantly, hope. The treatment plan Debra designed was thorough and tailored to my unique needs. By diligently following the exercises and stretches she prescribed, I saw consistent progress. On the weeks when I couldn’t keep up with my home routine, the stagnation was noticeable—an important reminder of how vital it is to do your homework! Debra’s “magic” didn’t stop with my back. She also helped address a chronic issue with my left shoulder, caused by years of spinal misalignment. Once again, her diagnostic skills were spot-on, and the exercises she prescribed were transformative. Thanks to Debra and the incredible team at CORE (special thanks to Josh for guiding me through the exercises!), I now feel empowered to manage my condition. While scoliosis will always be a part of my life, I no longer feel trapped by pain. Instead, I have the tools and knowledge to heal and reset my body when needed. If you’re struggling with chronic pain or a condition you thought was hopeless, don’t hesitate—Debra Steward and the team at CORE Physical Therapy can truly change your life.

Went here post-operatively for range of motion for my complex tibial plateau fracture. Main issue was range of motion, and I was unable to straighten my leg. 15° bend in my leg, they would forcefully get it down to maybe 7° with plenty of manual force and pressure, and would come back being around the same 15°. I complained of extreme pain in my outer knee, the one area that my surgeon did not touch, and I didn’t experience a break in, and it was dismissed as just being tight. After months of advocating for myself, and being medically gaslit, I find I have a complex tear in my meniscus too that was preventing my leg from fully straightening. Meanwhile, they’re pushing down forcefully on my leg, as I’m in extreme pain, and minimizing how badly I’m hurting. They made fun of me for consistently tearing up during sessions. While not entirely their fault, and I’ve been neglected by the medical establishment and my orthopedist alike for my meniscus injury I complained about for months, they were unsympathetic to my pain. Sometimes it’s not that the issue is your patient is a wuss. I should not have been doing those exercises to the point of sobbing in pain. I was told my issue in straightening solely came down to not doing enough at home, despite my efforts. They should be ashamed of their conduct. I felt gaslit about my pain, and that I should just “bear through it”, even though the issue was entirely mechanical that I could not gain extension in my knee. I found the staff to be relatively unprofessional in their conduct, dismissive, and didn’t feel as though they took their time with me during my sessions, which would be all of 10 minutes of exercises with an inexperienced student. I found much better treatment at Santa Ana Tustin Physical Therapy, and I highly recommend going to them instead if they are in network.

Love it here. Small and intimate with a personal touch feel and not a puppy mill like other larger facilities. Dr Diane is excellent. She has the magic touch. Also Daniel the intern is phenomenal. He really knows his stuff. Thank you to Core Therapy!

If you need physical therapy, TELL your doctor you want to go to CORE Physical Therapy in the city of Orange, 1026 E Chapman Ave, Suite C. My doctor sent me to therapy for left hip pain due to arthritis. Dr. Ming Chui was my assigned physical therapist. Dr. Chui is a dedicated, caring physical therapist who will help you find “the balance” through targeted exercises and hands-on therapy. Dr. Chiu has a caring, compassionate approach to physical therapy that motivates you to perform the exercises at home which have been selected for you. Utsavi Patikh is CORE’s physical therapy assistant. I can tell you Utsavi is a dedicated, caring assistant with a great personality. Utsavi administered laser therapy for my hip and groin. Thanks, Utsavi, for being my “laser buddy.” Special mention to Christina at the front office and those caring assistants to Dr. Chiu. George and Luis were there to ensure I was doing my exercises properly and correcting me when needed. Thank you and God’s blessings to you all! Sincerely, Norma

Pleasant enough folks, but the years old, unused, filthy coffee machine in the lobby, coupled by a nearly maniacal focus on setting-up future appointments (me: "My calendars are on my computers at home." them: "You can still set-up your appointments, right?"). I mentioned that I'd been working out at a gym; no questions about which machines, weights settings, reps, etc., but got a sheet of paper for recommended exercises. This place is all about money, and boy is the office stuffy. No thanks.

John Myers and Harold are excellent therapists and I have the highest regard for their capability. John Myers were able to help me recover from a frozen shoulder and sciatica allowing me to undertake my usual activity.

This place is so small and old. No therapist work with me . They allow student to work with me. Student spent only 20 min to work with me and rush to go home. Never never never come to Core physical therapy.
