I am so grateful for the compassionate care I received from Dr Taylor Sillekens. He treated me throughout my recovery from major back and sacroiliac surgery/fusion. It was complicated with the discovery of breast cancer and side effects of treatment for a year. He not only treated my back, but addressed pains I had in my hands and feet, etc., due to chemo. The entire staff and aids are professional, compassionate and encouraging. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor Sillekens and the Irvine office of Core Performance.

I've used Core Performance numerous times over the years. I always received great care and was happy with their services. Not so today. The physical therapist only spends about 10-15 minutes with you. For the remaining hour, you are left in the hands of assistants who are instructed to have you do unnecessary (and painful) exercises to fill in the time. Most, if not all, of the exercises were a waste of time and my doctor said I should have never been doing some of them. I have since been using another physical therapy office and the difference in my healing has been unbelievable (five 1/2 hour visits so far). I am not doing any of the exercises that Core had me doing and the Therapist spends the entire 30 minutes with me. I wish I would've changed therapy places sooner.

I was walking around with a stiff knee and a limp when I first came to Core Performance, and honestly wasn't feeling very optimistic about being able to walk normally again. It has been close to a year since my injury, and two surgeries later, but I am finally close to being able to walk and return to my active lifestyle! I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Taylor in my journey to recovery! He is very knowledgeable and is constantly staying updated with the best practices. He really pushes you to work past your self-limiting thoughts. He believes in you even when you don't believe in yourself. I recommend working with Dr. Taylor, he will make sure you get back to 100%. Everyone at Core Performance is wonderful to work with, you will feel right at home at this clinic!

I can not say enough about this place! My eldest son first started attending Core Performance after his spinal surgery. A few years later my second son had to come to physical therapy for his knee issues. He met Taylor and the rest is history! As a family we love this place. Taylor and Kat are absolutely amazing. They make physical therapy fun yet very effective. I started going here due to hip and leg pain ..... so many years of suffering and a few months with Taylor and the pain has subsided. My two older boys still come and get treated by Taylor because honestly he is absolutely AMAZING. He is kind, understands the issue and makes sure to get it resolved. He is highly talented at what he does. After my sons back surgery he was unable to play basketball and dunk the way he use to before surgery but with Taylors help he is stronger than ever and back at dunking which he hasn't done in years. I can not THANK Taylor and his team enough. If you are looking for a place that will actually help you and get you back to feeling fantastic again ..... this is the place. :) Honestly 5 starts are not enough. I wish could give more!

I am sorry but this company is not going to work for me. I scheduled a consultation at their Irvine facility for today at 9:40 AM. After confirming they called back and asked if they could move it to 10:40 AM I said sure. I arrived approximately 10:33 AM. They told me it would just be a minute before the Therapist could see me. At 10:45 I explained I have a service for my sister I needed to be at and needed to leave at 11 since they said it would be just a 20 minute consultation. I waited another 6 minutes until 10:51 and it was clear the therapist was busy until 11. I left. If they had said he was busy until 11 to begin with I would have rescheduled the appointment. But they were going to make me wait. I will not do business with anyone that disrespects my time like that.

Taylor Sillekens and his assistant Kat are priceless! I came back after 1 year because I had a relapse. I am thankful I trusted the process because I am no longer in pain. The new location is easy to get to and has all the equipment necessary to get you moving with ease again. Taylor knows exactly what you need to do. He is kind and patient.

I had my second hip replacement six weeks ago and this recovery was a lot more difficult so my Ortho MD wrote me a prescription to go to physical therapy 3X a week for six weeks. I chose this place randomly because it was close to my house and they were able to get me in right away. I’ve been working with Landy who is a doctor there and I cannot say enough good things about her and the entire team of aids that work with her. As soon as I started working with Landy and her team, my recovery sped up quickly. She was able to get me out of pain on days where my pain was heightened and she was able to increase my range of motion quickly. No one is in a rush to get you out in a certain length of time they will definitely put you through a lot of workouts and if you want to ice when you’re done, you can ice there. The doctor will take a good amount of time with you before the aids will work with you on more exercises. If you’re in pain or you’re frustrated with your recovery from a surgery or an injury, this is a great place to go. Everyone is super friendly, professional and the place is spotlessly clean.

Dr. Kelly was great, but most of the aids were unprofessional and condescending. Every single time I was doing an exercise one of them had to come over and say this is too easy for me and put more weight on. I would tell them I can't do that and they'd insist it's easy on me and ended up hurting me real bad each and every time it has happened. What am I supposed to do, show I'm struggling by yelling and crying while doing a move to prove I'm struggling? My appointments would also always started late although I would come in 5-10 minutes early.
