The Cora therapist are wonderful! Miguel specializes in Lymphatic drainage massage, he is knowledgeable and professional. He taught me the proper way of Lymphatic drainage massage. After breast cancer surgery. Also known as manual lymphatic drainage, relieves swelling that happens when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. Lymphatic drainage massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels. Highly recommended!!

the staff were very courteous and professional. I worked with multiple PT's and received very good care from all of them! I did not have to wait long to see a PT. All were very knowledgeable and answered my questions to my satisfaction. My only recommendation would be to clearly identify the end goals of the therapy and make sure both patient and PT were on the same page regarding what the patient wanted from the therapy.

Lymphedema. I was diagnosed with Lymphedema of my arm in 2001. Since 2001, I have met with approximately 12 different practitioners both Physical Therapist's and Technicians. Only one of these previous practitioners came close to the knowledge and thoroughness of Miguel. His passion to help those with lymphedema is beyond amazing. Within a short time, Miguel helped me learn self care manual lymphatic drainage massage and exercise techniques. He also helped reduce the swelling in my arm and reduction of fibrotic tissue by performing lymphatic massage therapy techniques. I highly recommend CORA PT and Miguel. The swelling in my arm has not been reduced this much since 2010. I am so grateful to Miguel!!

I was at CORA PT - Lake Sumter working on balance issues with Taylor when Miguel Rodriguez walked up to me and tells me "I can help with your edema and lymphedema". Miguel has received specialized training and is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in addition to being a PTA. The protocol seems to be 12 sessions - first is an evaluation by a PT, second - eleven are where Miguel works his magic, and twelve is the final evaluation and discharge. Miguel does 98% of the work (strange for Physical Therapy) and the client does 2% give or take by performing what Miguel describes as "easy - peasy" exercises twice a day at home. At the facility the client lies on the table, Miguel does some light therapy and then wraps the extremity (in my case, the leg) and then sends you home. My leg was wrapped entirely below the knee and did not affect my driving. Results were very noticeable in the five measuring spots on my legs. Miguel and all of the folks I encountered (includes front office, PTs and PTAs) are very efficacious, and understanding of patient needs.

I recently moved to the area and was in need of a Physical Therapist to continue treatment for my Lymphedema. I was so fortunate to be referred to Cora Physical Therapy Lake Sumter where Miguel Rodriguez works as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Miguel thoroughly explained the details of my condition and how to self manage. Miguel and all the staff at Cora PT are courteous, helpful and awesome to work with and I highly recommend them.

Everyone I worked with at Cora physical therapy were wonderful. The staff and receptionist couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful in every stage of my recovery from major elbow surgery. I highly recommend PT at Lake Sumter Cora.

I was approved of 6 visits for PT. MY doctor ordered12 visits. After the 6 visits Cora PT said they would work on getting the next 6 visits approved by my insurance. I called and I called and I called and I called. I left messages, and I talked to the receptionist. No one ever called me back. When they did answer the phone, I was told they would check into it and call me back. I never got a response. No one ever called me back. I sent an email to the corporate office through their website, and again no response. Terrible customer service. I’m injured and need help. I will NEVER AGAIN try to use CORA PT. Horrible. How can they just ignore all my messages and phone calls.

I've had hip and lower back pain for quite some time. The staff (I've had all the therapists at one time or another,) have helped my pain issues plus we're working on strength as well. I've been so far, impressed! They also have a massage therapist whose very good as well. You don't have to be a patient to utilize his expertise. I highly recommend CORA!!
