Concentra Urgent Care

I had a referral and went to Concentra for my pre-employment screening. Upon arrival, I was asked to fill out the check-in form six times—three times on the computer and then three times manually because I was told the computers weren’t working. During my visit, I received a shot and was instructed to return after three days. When I went back on 11/31, I was informed that my name was not in their system at all, as if I had never been there. I explained that I had filled out the check-in forms multiple times, received a shot, and even had an appointment sheet as proof. Despite this, they insisted my name wasn’t in their system and asked me to start the process all over again. This experience was incredibly frustrating, and I regret visiting the Concentra location in Santee. The entire process felt disorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend this location to anyone—it was a complete mess

Fast, start to finish. The facilities could use some work where a workstation is not sharing a counter with the sink used to wash hands before and after giving my sample. Staff was friendly and helpful. People in the waiting room (customers, not staff) we're very rude and listening to programs on their phones with the volume to do everybody in the wait room had to listen as well.

I was in and out of the building quickly. Despite being “short staffed,” I was able to get a drug test and TB screening done all within an hour 4/5 will be visiting again.

You walk in and give them your ID and phone number then get handed a form to fill out the exact same info. Even though I was the only one in the office it still took about an hour to be seen. The employees were kind to your face but had no problem ignoring you for an hour.

I'm required by my company to get a yearly respirator fit test. I went in as a "walk in" without having made an appointment. The wait was not long. The staff is friendly. And the test was thorough. I recommend.

Front desk staff was so kind and welcoming. The visit itself was quick; however, the staff in the back lacked in bedside manner and compassion for their patients.

There really is no “quick” visit at an urgent care location and I only go to them on rare occasions. That said, I walked in for a pre-employment drug screen on Friday afternoon and they had me in and out in under half an hour. Staff was polite and friendly. Facility was clean and orderly.

I was told to be 15 minutes early to my appointment. I complied . However, it does not seem that Concerta Santee staff care about being timely as I was called to the back 40 minutes after my appointment time. If you expect your patients to be on time (or even early) to their appointment, I’d expect Concerta staff to be respectful of their patients time as well. Or at least, when the patient checks in, letting them know staff is running X minutes behind. Otherwise, staff were very polite and helpful.
