Concentra Urgent Care

My appointment for my physical was at 10. I wasn’t seen until 11. After physical I was put in room to wait for the Dr. around 12. Dr. Didn’t show up until 1 and told me that they just realized I was in the room waiting. I finally left around 1:30ish. 3 1/2 hrs is unacceptable. 2 1/2hrs just in waiting around. The staff was friendly and helpful I can at least say that was a positive.

Hi my experience with concentra was quite the unloving experience. Concentra is very slow, I know I didn’t came without an appointment and that’s because in the website it says walk-in’s are welcome. The reason I say they are slow is because there would only be 2 people in the waiting room to get admitted in. They would take forever to do this simple task. I came in to get simple blood test for work and didn’t leave until 1:30pm, mind you I get there at 9:30. And i don’t want to come of as a Karen because I’m not the type of guy to complain about everything, however come on now if you have 2 people waiting there to be seen just do your job and don’t keep them waiting, it’s not like they had 20+ people there.

Welcoming, professional and friendly staff. Systems were down, which was frustrating for the all, but they did everything they could to accommodate / prioritize walk-ins and appointments staying efficient, organized and thorough.

I didn’t believe reviews that indicated long waits at this location until today. Never waited this long ever for a simple physical screening. Every person I saw in the lobby genuinely looked like they’ve also waited a long time/annoyed. If you want to wait 2+ hours, then this is the location. Otherwise, I 100% recommend going somewhere else.

Experience started off not so good. The receptionist initially was rude and inattentive almost making me feel as if she was being bothered. She initially told me she would help me shortly but immediately assisted the next person in line. I stepped back up to the desk and she stated she thought I went to the bathroom or something. She then slid paperwork across the counter to me. I completed the paperwork and got signed in only for her to have to do it over because she didn’t give me time to tell her some of the test had already been completed. The nurse or nurse assistant that helped me was very nice and polite smiling and apologized for the miscommunication at the desk. She improved the visit just by simply communicating. Overall not so bad. Minor adjustments and things would’ve been amazing.

The orthopedic surgeon was late one hour for my appointment at 1:30 pm and he didn’t even apologize nor did any of the reception staff. No explanation. Very sad.

This has been by far the worst experience ever!!!!! Nobody greets you they have you wait for a physical for 3 hours don’t give you an actual estimate time on waiting! I asked if I could please go next because I had to leave they said not their problem other people that came in had appointments when that wasn’t true. I heard a few people ask for the same service as me and they got called in right away. Should never have to wait 3 hours

I went for a DOT physical. They made this as easy as possible. I am thankful To everyone that helped from the front desk to the nice young lady taking my Blood Pressure. The experience here was way better than I have had at their locations in San Leandro. Thanks again to everyone at the Hegenberger location.
