Concentra Urgent Care

Reported for employer mandated physical and drug test. I received a health questionnaire via email and filled it out the day before. Then I got there 30 minutes early but didn't receive paperwork immediately so didn't have time to complete it before I was called. And it was all the exact same questions! Why have me complete the thing electronically ahead of time if they're just going to waste my time filling it out again by hand?? Lastly, their disposable shorts weren't really big enough. Surely they know how fat some of us are these days?

I have FIVE stars for THE NATIONAL CITY location! The first one that I visited on Mission Center Road in Mission Valley had POOR customer service. I stood at the reception desk for about five minutes, with two receptionists looking at me, without any acknowledgements or greetings. When I FINALLY did receive their attention, they weren't too willing to help me. I came before their 5pm walk-in cut off time, but they said that the doctor was overwhelmed with new patients, so I couldn't be seen. They weren't quick to remedy that with providing another viable solution, just an unconcerned comment about come back tomorrow. Like I don't have other obligations. After hearing about another possible location, they were not too happy that I had asked them to check with the proposed location with a phone call before I made that long 30-minute drive in the rain. I could see that they had SELECTIVE good customer service.

Everyone here is great! All have positive attitudes , pleasant , respectful all kind of good traits ! Excellent company with excellent employees . Doctor is so nice and great too. All of them . 10 scale on everything .

I arrived at almost 2 pm. They said the wait time was 3 hours, which I said was fine. So I started waiting inside and then the receptionist called me up and said I had to wait out in my car so I didn't get anyone inside the waiting room sick. I went outside, and it was super cold when the wind was blowing. I went back in and let him know I don't have a car to wait in and that the wind was gonna make my condition worse. He said basically that that's just how it's gonna have to be, but in his own words. I was even wearing a mask the whole time but I guess that wasn't good enough. He said that I could go wait in a fast food restaurant nearby, which isn't better. There are people in those restaurants. What the hell?! It wasn't very close to where I live so I just left. Bonus: the workers were super loud and obnoxious, not having consideration for how their patients were feeling, saying things like, "Two more hours and my shift is oveeeer. Just 2 more hours!" Normally I wouldn't mind but urgent care is not the place for that. Anyway, I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Physical therapy staff are very nice and knowledgeable. On the medical side, the Np doesn't introduce himself. The nurses are very nice. Overall a good place for medical care.

Do not go here!! I went here because I was having a severe migraine and fatigue. I waited 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room until my name was called. They got my vitals and told me to return to the waiting room and wait for my name to be called again. I waited for another 20 minutes until my name got called. I was taken to a patient's room and waited another 10 minutes... The doctor finally showed up and asked me about my migraine and if I had other symptoms. And the doctor just told me to go to the ER, and she said they couldn't do anything that could help me with a simple MIGRAINE! I was with the doctor for no more than 5 minutes! I wasted 3 hours going here! I do not recommend going here unless you like wasting your time!! I wish I can give -5 stars!

Came here for a work injury for a total of 3 appts. The care from all the NPs was great but the nurse who did my intake all 3 times ( dark haired gentleman with glasses who's name escapes me SORRY) was so lovely, kind, inviting. He made me feel so incredibly comfortable and welcomed.

The man who did my drug test Joel was super nice. But the people in the front were just plain rude to everyone !!! Even a military person that came in. It was just disgusting. I never leave reviews but this was just not right. The front desk staff really need some customer service training and need to learn how to speak to patients
