Concentra Urgent Care

After spending 5 hours(!) waiting to be processed, and finding out "I" had missed the lab pickup time, and so would have to return the next day (I live 1.5 hours away), I was not a happy camper. At least Luz got me in quickly as promised to get the lab draw done. I think their process should be improved where they look at their patient list for the day and make sure and pull people back for lab draws before the deadline. The patient could be sent back out to wait for the doctor availability, but at least the lab draw would be done on time.

First, the wait was not that bad; I have waited 6 hours to be seen, in the past. I think I only waited an hour? I had about six different tests to be done. Second, Alex, female-AMAZING, was efficient, professional and kind! Alex was able to run my tests, put the information in the system and move me onto our next procedure. I NEVER had to wonder what was going on, she ALWAYS kept me informed of the next step and reminded me that she would be with me and guide me. Alex is the MOST AMAZING nurse, I have had the honor of being in the presence of her care, kindness and efficiency. Thank you Alex 😌

Promptly opened at 8 am and was greeted. Check in was fast and friendly. Since I didn’t have an appointment I thought I would be there all day but took less than 2 hours for a drug test and physical. Everything was done efficiently and with great customer service. Good job to the team at Concentra urgent care!

Staff is professional and kind. The wait was a bit long for a urine drug screen (over an hour); but once I was called back, super quick and easy process.

Went in for a physical, was initially told it would be a 2-3 hour wait, but I was seen within something like 20 minutes. Front desk clerks were very cordial and helpful. My provider was Dr. Khanna who was extensive in his assessment, and I could tell was a person who cared a lot about their profession. Great experience, was not disappointed to have come here.

The Concentra off Mitchell SUCKS. Always nasty attitudes from the workers. The doctors don’t listen to you and go based off what they see to their eyes. The doctor Dorthy tried to release me after having me put my hands above my head and roll my wrist when my injury is on my elbow, goes to show they are all over the place. In order to get my appointment approved I had to have my workers comp case manager fax the approvals and when I went into my appointment they never found the fax and were looking through a pile of fax that just sit there. They are very unprofessional… I do not recommend going here tell your job to send you somewhere else!!

The wait time was insane. I showed up at 8:02 and was the 4th physical my wait time was 3.5 hours. I wish they had their wait times posted online or something.they do have an option to leave after you check in and and come back within 10 minutes of getting a text you’re up next. The staff was all polite, after finally getting called the back office staff was even nicer. I got helped by Alex and I loooooved her, she was super nice and explained everything before she started the process. The doctor didn’t seem rushed or annoyed, she did the physical instructed me to wait and before I knew it I was out of there . Other than the wait time everything else was a great experience.

Concentra is always busy, but I've never had to wait more than 20-30 minutes. The employees are always friendly. Would recommend this location to anyone needing to do drug test or Urgent care.
