Concentra Urgent Care

Ive been to concentrate 2 times. I am rating my last visit. Wait time was long to be called, after that things improved. Was pleased to finally have a thorough consultation with the hand specialist to know exactly my situation. Upon leaving I did not receive direction for my departure and asked the front desk if I was supposed to leave, she told me to sit and wait for paperwork. I waited 30 minutes in a standing room only urgent care, then approached the front desk again. After looking at my paperwork she said I could leave, it was already completed. So again I waited for nothing. My 1st visit I was over looked 2 hrs!

Very slow! I came in around 3 o clock and lo and behold, there were only three patients. I felt so lucky. I came in for employment screening. After 30 minutes, the three people have been called plus another handful thay arrived for me. All i needed to do was pee in a cup and get a flu vaccine. For all that to take more than an hour is ridiculous.

My time here in Concentra as usual for the past 2 years on and off has resulted in a significant loss of time. Today, the physician dr Z, inquired about my experience with the initial injection from exactly last year—a question he had posed during my previous visit, MONTHS ago and prior to recommending these injections i was supposed to get today, after having to wait all these months to get approved. I recounted the considerable pain I endured during that first shot, and in that moment, he declared that I was not a suitable candidate for surgery, nor would he authorize any additional injections. He expressed concerns that they would exacerbate my discomfort, and that I would likely fare poorly post-surgery, asserting that he is not the kind of physician who would inflict further pain. He suggested that I consult with my primary care physician to seek another surgical opinion. While I appreciate his candor, I cannot help but wonder why he made me wait all this time when he could have informed me from the outset that he would not proceed with surgery due to the pain these cortisone injections would cause me. I feel as though I have squandered precious time. I'm in immense pain, he already knew this information months ago, why have me wait for approval only for me to give him the same information again and deny me this time? Why waste my time????? It takes months to get approval to see another doctor, I could had already been approved to see someone else, why do this to people when they're desperate to find a solution to their on going 2 year pain? Dr Z, Get It Together!!!!!!! You made me lose valuable time!!!!! Months ago when I first seen you I wasn't at this rate of pain!!!! Look at me now, my pain is worse! Stop wasting patients time!!!!!!

Staff was professional and efficient. As I walked in they were helpful and informative, I had another doctors appointment and I informed the receptionist and she was able to accommodate the request. The online form was fast and easy to fill out, they were available for questions and friendly. The facility is well kept and secure.

I can’t believe they take so long and the staff seem like they are just playing and not taking the job seriously I came in at 11:12am and the front desk told me ur waiting time is like 3 hours I was omg if I didn’t get up at 1:30pm and ask her for my waiting time that would’ve skip me and the Dr for a physical taking like 2hours to come see me i was in the Exam room for like 1 like this ridiculous from this company like no joke I hate coming here!! The staff they are just talking and the Dr Jenni told me you could complain so we could get more staff like how professional is this from a Dr: Nyugen Jenny super Rude. as I was walking out, she was running her mouth with some of the staff members and I can hear her complaining about me saying why is it taking so long? I also overheard the manager going off on the staff in a meeting This so unprofessional

Need a quick physical for my work because my doctor's office had physicals "on hold". I made an appt. It was pretty quick, did not wait long. It was much more efficient than what I have done years ago. I appreciated it and everyone was friendly.

The staff was friendly, the facility was clean, I didn’t wait too long to be seen by the nurses/staff; however, I waited awhile to be seen by the doctor. I would have still given the facility 4-5 stars if it was just that though. The reason for a 2 star review is that I had a TB test done and was told I could come back Friday after 12:10p or on Saturday to get the TB test read. I was NOT told I needed to come in BEFORE 12:10 on Saturday as the test needed to be read between 48-72 hours later. I came back Saturday at 3p (to the Anaheim location) as the La Palma clinic is not open on Saturdays, and was told I needed to retake the TB test as I needed to come in BEFORE 12:10 to have it read. Total waste of time and money because of poor communication on La Palma staffs part :/

Everyone is super nice & helpful. The service is good. The people need more help when you call you get to be put on hold & it takes longer time to get answers. Overall it is super good.
