Concentra Urgent Care

I had an exceptional experience at CONCENTRA! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome and at ease. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and my doctor was absolutely wonderful. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly, answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. I never felt rushed or hurried. The office has a warm and caring atmosphere, making me feel comfortable and supported throughout my visit. I'm so grateful for the exceptional care I received and would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking top-notch medical attention. Five stars and well done!

Had to do the pre-employment here for John Muir Walnut Creek and after a week, my drug test still hasn’t come back yet. Spoke to Vivian and was very apologetic that I wasn’t informed about how long it would take and stated that she would contact quest to get the test expedited as the lab has had a back log. She was able to give me updates and was very reassuring that quest stated they would have it cleared by the end of the day so that my orientation date would not get delayed. At the end of the day, she was able to get my results in and got cleared to start work! Thank you so much Vivian for being patient and kind and also going out of your way to making the clearance happen!

I was waiting hours , despite me being early for my appointment. Was told they only accept walk ins. I was patient and understanding however it started to become a problem. They didn’t split up lines for who already booked an appointment and who needed to book an appointment . Waited hours before somebody actually started to call out asking who was here for an appointment. First saying they didn’t have my info despite my workman’s comp saying they did. Then I wasted gas going home only for them to call back saying they found it and then they’d book an appointment time for me so I wasted gas going back. They are not organized well and as I was waiting people said that they are always like this. Always understaffed. Then after the doctor finally got to me hours after, then said to wait for final check out. I waited another hour or so before they finally got back to me and said I could go. But to book another exam after despite the doctor saying he has no idea why I was there and that I’m doing everything right with PT and Ortho.

I was there for an audiogram hearing test for work and even in the box with the headphones on there is alot of ambient white noise from the office air vents etc. definitely not silent, so makes it even harder to hear quiet beeps of test. I do not believe the results are at all accurate. Staff is nice tho.

I experienced genuine hell on earth here. From front desk to dr everyone who works here was incredibly rude to me. I waited three hours and was lied to the entire time about how long the wait would be. I had a panic attack because of how many times blood was drawn from me and they constantly blamed me. They told me I was dehydrated but I was only dehydrated because of the three hours I had to wait which was their fault. I had a panic attack because they weren’t taking blood properly because they caused me to be dehydrated. Please do not ever go here.

I had to do testing for a new job at John Muir. My first visit was fine. When I was almost home I received a call saying they miss labeled my blood samples. Ok I had to come back for a TB test reading a couple days later. Went back for the reading and do more blood samples. The following week on Monday I was called saying I never came in for my TB reading. The manager did the reading. I hope they can figure everything out otherwise I’m not sure if I can start my new job.

Concentra is very thorough, the staff is very nice and my visits were pleasant to say the least. I'm very satisfied with the service, and would gladly visit Concentra if need be for health services.

6 hours I spent here. I’m not even exaggerating. 6 HOURS. Look, I was very understanding and very patient, especially with how long it took. I didn’t have any complaints because I understand that they are understaffed and these things take time. But towards the end of my physical exam the doctor told me she’d be right back and left me in the exam room for over an hour. Then they finally let me go, no further evaluations whatsoever. So they made me wait AN HOUR, mind you, I had already spent 5 hours here, JUST to tell me to leave. Apparently, the doctor had “forgotten to excuse me”. So unprofessional. And to make matters worse, they couldn’t even draw my blood! So now I have to go to Quest to get that situated. They painfully poked my arms FOUR TIMES just to tell me I need to get it done somewhere else. I literally left crying because of how frustrating this whole experience was for me. I am livid. Please if you can, avoid this location at all costs so you don’t waste 6 hours of your own time and leave with tears streaming down your face.
