Don’t walk, Run from the Berkeley location!!! I went to this location yesterday bleeding after a work incident. They forced me to complete a filed claim with my jobs insurance before I could even be put on the 1hr wait list. At least 11 people went in front of me before they would even give me gauze to sop up the blood from my injury. The facility is not sterile and pretty ran down. The lady at the front desk finally added me to list and never even asked for the claim details after she hushed me away the first time. The doctor came in limping and in bad shape. She barely wanted to touch my wound. Then had me run it under water to clean it before gluing my wound. No antibiotics no additional care or inspection was offered. I had to ask her to rap it up because it was still bleeding through the terrible glue job. And basically had to wrap it myself. The next day I went to the Concord location and it was night and day. They are happy to check you in when you arrive while you wait and complete paperwork, they actually appear as a doctors office with clean rooms and actually asked questions to get all the details of my injury. They even offered snacks and lighting changes for the room. It was 100% worth the drive. Concentra, please help this location improve they don’t realize how an already stressful situation turned into a nightmare.

1 star too much for my experience. Front desk attendant needs learn customer service. She doesn’t know to listen and help to people. She doesn’t know to offer solutions. Totally indifferent. People like her must understand her work includes speak, listen and help whom attend this place and require assistance.

Everyone was polite and helpful, their team went above and beyond. Getting me in almost immediately and making sure all my necessary documentation was correct. Best concentra location

Never have I ever experienced customer service in such a horrid manner. The young lady- Haydee, apparently the Operations Director/ Manager refused to let me be seen although I had arrived at 4:10pm. She claimed she has an office rule (not corporately agreed or advertised anywhere) that walk-ins after 3pm are reserved for serious injuries. The lobby was empty when I arrived and yet she wouldn't make any exceptions. I explained that this was an inconvenience and if this could be changed by marketing and communications of Concentra that would be helpful. Her response was that she was a "nobody" and it didn't matter. I left and gathered my thoughts and went back and asked for the mangers # she claimed she was the manager and when I reconfirmed that that this rule was not on the website she said she made up the rule herself. I said that is unfair and that I would wait to be seen since I had arrived at 4:10. Haydee then threatened to call the police on me. It turns out that this young lady, whom claimed she herself was a manager believes that calling threatening to call the police on a calm patient waiting to be seen is okay. She refused to comply with giving me any support including her higher up's phone number stating she didn't have a work extension. I would never recommend this location to anyone, not only is the staff completely inadequate to provide any form of customer support, but they are biased and exceptionally unfair as they let a man in behind me who was of their same background and did not have a serious injury.

I went in the early morning to submit a urine sample for employment. I filled out the online registration while waiting in the offices. I had another appointment and decided to return to the clinic, later that morning. I returned to the clinic a couple of hours later, with my nine year old daughter. I informed the older lady working there that I had already registered online. She was extremely rude and disrespectful as she stated: “That’s not how it works !!! Thankfully another worker noticed and remembered me from earlier.

The cleanliness of the facility was subpar, and the restroom's toilet was blocked. The physician exhibited a noticeable lack of enthusiasm for their responsibilities and failed to examine my finger during the follow-up consultation. I waited for approximately 20 minutes before being informed that I could leave. On a positive note, the nurses demonstrated commendable kindness and professionalism. I only attended this facility because my injury was work-related. I will not return unless absolutely necessary.

The physical therapy dept is good however the MD, Dr. DeMott is very poor. Not once did she look at me or even look at the affected site of injury. Looked very disheveled and not very tidy. Did not answer any questions just wrote notes on the computer the whole time. Bedside manner was atrocious!

Went for urgent care regarding an odd chest pain/rib cage pain. It was very slow. Took a long time to be seen, Doctor seemed lackadaisical and confused about what to do. She was not very engaging. The provider who took my X-ray seemed good.
