I was unable to get in with Baldwin Bone and Joint. Dr. Matthew Barfield saw me the same day I called to make the appointment. He made attempts to relieve the pain and was able to find the issue as soon as my MRI results came through.

The front desk is very welcoming with a friendly smile and warm personalities. The MA's are really amazing and make you feel so welcomed and heard and they do their very best to answer any questions that you have. You can tell that the doctors and employees at Comprehensive Pain and Rehabilitation love and truly care for their patients. The staff is very professional and efficient with their time and the hard work shows through in the caring of their patients. If you are in need of a doctor that will really listen to you and help you to try to be pain free, this is the place!!

Dr. Hapworth and staff were very compassionate, and talked through each step of the progress of the procedure. Very caringly explained all after care and the most probable future needs. I am so blessed to have been referred to Dr. Hapworth.

The office claims to treat their patients with the love of Christ. That was not my experience. I have been dealing with chronic pain for 20 years untreated, mostly because I had no Insurance working as a missionary. Things recently are radically changing in my body and I was recommended to Dr Hapworth for pain management by my neurologist. He spent ten seconds with me and set me up for shots in the back. There was no communication on what to expect. I went to Pascagoula and did as he suggested. During the follow up when I informed him the procedure did nothing to help my pain, and asked him for help with medication to get me through the hard days, he said I needed to pee in a cup, and left after only seeing me for ten seconds. Urine was not collected. Later his nurse comes in and hands me two papers which I know nothing about, some sort of physical therapy, and a back brace prescription, and said they have done all they can for me. I was dumbfounded to say the least. Never have I been treated by a doctor with so little dignity or respect. Dr Hapworth has zero communication skills and zero compassion. Nothing like being used for an insurance payment. And although there was nobody in the waiting rooms I still waited an hour for him to appear for the ten second visit. I am horribly sickened that they use the name of Christ in their slogan. I would have been better off and with more money for never seeing him. What a sham!

I have been a patient for years and can't imagine the life I would have had without the doctors and Allison managing my pain. On my very first visit Dr. Tucker referred me to a neurosurgeon to correct a herniated disc in my neck and this was after many complaints to my general practitioner who did nothing! As I battle degenerative and bone problems alongside cancer and its treatment I have Allison and the doctors helping me. I have always been treated with kindness and recommend Comprehensive Pain and Rehab to anyone who is suffering.

There's a lot of things we dream about as kids and aspire to be after we grow up. Developing health problems that requires we get on and remain on pain medication for the rest of our lives is probably not on the top of the list. However, it can happen to anyone. So when you are required to see a pain management Dr. every 30 days, to explain your circumstances, rate your ongoing, never changing pain, it becomes hard, at best. There's a stigma associated with it. Everyone in the Drs office knows why you are there, and that's especially the time when extraordinary kindness and compassion could go a long way for the patient. We have found that with an associate at Dr. Barfields. Her name is Samantha. We love her for her special attention. She's very attentive to our needs. We look forward to seeing Samantha on our visits. She makes us feel good about having to come. And we always look forward to seeing her on our next appointment . Thank you, Samantha, for all you do...
