Kellen is a very professional and knowledgeable individual that I have privilege to work with for the last two months. He has, and continued to, help me recover from a MCL injury, from not being able to walk without pain to being able to train 100% in gym, and to competing in my sports Jiu Jitsu within the two-month period. He is a very helpful in answering all my questions during and outside our sessions. He also helps me navigate uncertainties during my injury and build confidence back to my training and competitions.

Kellen is an amazing DPT! I HIGHLY recommend! Prior to working with Kellen, I had seen 3 other physical therapists regarding my ankle break. I had plateaued. I was stuck at 8 degrees of motion. I could barely walk 1 mile, and when I did, I would swell up so badly, I wouldn't be able to walk for 2 months after. I tried everything to get out of the plateau, from taking a break from PT to acupuncture. I even considered an additional surgery. Then I came across Kellen, and I started to notice results FAST! Within the first month, I noticed my range improving. During the 1-2 years, I worked with Kellen, I noticed SIGNIFICANT results. He provided a fitness plan I could implement to supplement my sessions. I still use this plan today. There were even moments when I was so overwhelmed, I wanted to give up, but Kellen really understands what it can feel like when your body betrays you, and encouraged me to continue. Thanks to Kellen, I avoided a surgery, and gained enough mobility and strength to return to normal life. Before Kellen, when I wanted to go places that required a lot of walking (ie. Disneyland, Legoland), I would use a wheelchair in order explore the campus. Thanks to Kellen, I was able to walk 20,000 steps (about 7 miles) a day for 13 days in Japan this year without any issues. If I never worked with Kellen, my life would look dramatically different than it does now.

My experience was awesome, had a very detailed evaluation and Kellen was able to pinpoint what was wrong, and gave me exercises and a program to follow. Working with him is great he has all the machines, tools, and equipment needed. I’ve been struggling with knee issues for two years and working with Kellen I have finally found the solution. He has given me a program to follow when I go back to college and I can reach out to him whenever and he will assist me.

As a former professional and Olympic athlete, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else for physical therapy. Kellen has experience working with athletes of all ages and a variety of physical ailments. His humble approach and growth mindset opens him up to higher learning to serve his clients. He has helped me build strength and run pain free after years of playing volleyball and three major knee surgeries during my career.. I now have two young children and Kellen has me on a path to continue to move well into my retirement years.

I’ve been working with Kellen to rehab a torn ACL since my surgery last June. I’ve had an amazing experience since day one that exceeded all of my expectations. Kellen is extremely knowledgeable and the best physical therapist I’ve ever worked with. ACL recovery is long and grueling and Kellen kept me focused and motivated the entire time. 9 months later I’m stronger than I was before the surgery, and back to skiing, playing beach volleyball and all the rest of the things I love to do. I’ve been a competitive athlete all my life and would highly recommend Kellen to any athlete looking to get back to their sport. He’s not only focused on getting you back, but making you stronger so you don’t get re-injured.

I met Kellen 3 years ago due to a lower back injury, and he was a great help. I had been struggling with physical therapy and other treatments for months until I met Kellen, and within a few weeks, I saw instant improvement and was able to return to the field. He’s easily accessible and very communicative. I’ve visited him multiple times with various injuries, but I have never been unsatisfied with the PT sessions. I started working with Kellen last year after I sustained an ACL tear during a soccer match. From the start Kellen did a great job helping me understand the rehab process. Throughout working together he gave me attainable goals and benchmarks to hit during each stage of my rehab to make sure I was staying on track. It was a long and tough course but he pushed me harder physically than any other PTs in the past. I am now back on the field competing at a high level with full confidence in my knee. Kellen has been my physical therapist for the last two years. I am a 56-year-old ex-high school and college athlete who has maintained an athletic lifestyle throughout my life. I have been going to physical therapy since I was 15 years old and know the difference between mediocre care and elite care beyond my expectations. Kellen brings the latter. Historically my typical experience with physical therapy has been meeting with a therapist for 5 or 10 minutes and then being shuffled off to a high school intern to do some exercises. With Kellen, I receive one-on-one intense care from a person who has a PhD in his field and who maintains a high level of intensity for my well-being from his initial analysis right through the performance of every repetition of each exercise performed for 60 to 90 minutes. I cannot say enough about the benefits I've received from Kellen’s practice. Kellen’s excellence was additionally validated to me when I would go to visit him for appointments and see him working on elite pro athletes ranging from pro tennis stars to NFL mega-stars. The answer is easy, if you want the best and you want to recover quickly from injuries and maintain great physical fitness level, Kellen is your answer.
