Dr. Blomstedt is 5*! Otherwise RUN!!! I literally cannot count how many times they've screwed up or the horror stories I've heard that AREN'T mine. Dumbest staff I've ever met. Same at the walk-in clinic & PT, except for Gabby. Talk about UNhelpful. Ppl die from simple things gone WAY wrong & if you have an emergency? Forget it.

The Behavioral Health section of this hospital is a joke, the CNA that helps the people involved there. She’s very judged and very rude. She told me a dump use victim of 12 years to go somewhere else they couldn’t help me there and they couldn’t help my 17-year-old daughter who also was there with me through the 12 years of abuse and has OCD anxiety, depression, and PTSD. They said we can help you here go somewhere else. Why are you even there. They’re paying you for no reason the hospital could save a lot of money by firing you all.

Great Hospital and Amazing ppl work here, only not in the Behavioral HEALTH DEPT. when called for appt for my self and my dependent told to call someone else because anxiety attacks from passed situations that were bad for myself and family caused the issues including self blame, ptsd and depression must not be anything they can actually treat there. So if having any mental probs such as those, maybe you should find a place that can treat those common issues. Or the hospital can train or hire someone with experience in those areas? So that dept. can actually flourish and help ppl? Idk…

I drive from Oberlin to go to the McCook hospital and doctor clinic. I spent 2 weeks in that hospital 2.5 years ago and received care every bit as good as any other place I've lived including Reno, the San Francisco Bay area, Salem and Portland, Oregon. I have and do trust the doctors there with my life. In a week I'm having hip replacement surgery there after having to wait 15 years for it. Th people there are the best. !!!!!

I will always choose McCook over any other for medical needs. I have been seeing doctors and specialists here since I was young. I had my daughter here and the birthing wing was beautiful and it was a very comfortable atmosphere in a very uncomfortable time. The care and quality are untouched!!

My mom went to her Dr. last week sent home with antibiotics ( per Omaha infectious disease specialist she was prescribed double what she should have been (6/16/15) ) On Sunday she went to the ER severe dehydration, sores in her throat and ear, Lymph nodes swollen and so much pain she felt like she was dying. Dr. Krysl was there and made the comment that the ER is for dying patents only and she was not dying, not so nice comment and sent her home saying she had mono ( very rare for a 80 year old if you do the research) On Monday she was feeling worse and went back to the ER, he then said it was she has west nile. On Tuesday she was worse, called the Dr Krysl at the clinic 3 times, waited 2 ½ hours and he never returned the call. She started vomiting blood, ambulance was called and we went to Dundy county hospital. They admitted her bc she was so sick, ran lots of test and found out what was going on and is working closely with Infectious Disease Specialist in Omaha. Also 6 years ago they told my dad he had a virus when a xray would of told him he had lung cancer.

Again, I had to use their ER. The staff was so good and attentive. I would recommend them to anyone that needs the help.

Here for physical therapy. 3rd over the years. The therapist are great. Get you up and moving. Great atmosphere. Great therapist.
