The receptionists are some of the worst people i have ever met. They were awful to me and everyone else who walked in there, and actively talked about me WHILE I WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM. Then the doctor proceeded to use the RN to deliver news to me instead of getting up and coming and talking to me. Overall, one of the most poorly ran instant care centers, solely because of the staff.

The wait was a bit long, but it is an urgent care and I didn’t have an appointment, so I was not really upset about it. Despite that, every staff member was apologetic about the wait and acknowledged that I could have been frustrated, which was very nice of them! Both the EMT and Dr. Fay were wonderful. They each listened to my concerns with empathy and did not make me feel like I was being rushed out the door. The appointment was quick but thorough, and I left very satisfied that my problem was addressed properly. It was my first time at this facility and my best urgent care experience!

I am pleased with my individualized treatment plan. The goal setting aspect of the treatment emphasizes a need for that aspect of my life.

If you have a serious mental illness, do not go here for counseling. I dropped them like hot iron. Also, wife had an APPOINTMENT and the wait sign said 15 minutes, we were in that waiting room for an hour before we just left. We told the front desk person, and they acted like she never even signed in. Horribly run clinic. This would be the last place I'd seek medical attention.

The doctors are great but the front desk attendants are kind of terrible. They WILL put you on 30min hold then hang up. You can call back but get ready to be on hold again and probably hung up twice. I’ve gone here plenty of times since it’s my schools health clinic. So, I know I have to plan at least 3hours of my day to go. I’ve made an appointment once, had to wait 40min to be seen and I kid you not I was waiting in my room for over an hour. I understand it’s hard pace, there just has to be something to make the whole process smoother. Also, the front desk attendants need to be trained more or something. I am sorry, again, the doctors and nurses are great, the efficiency there just sucks.

Called and scheduled ahead, gave me the wrong doctor who didn’t know what was going on with injury even after looking at an x-ray and didn’t diagnose anything despite me trying to advocate for myself, told me to just go to Physical Therapy. Felt like they didn’t listen to what I was trying to tell them about my injury and were very unhelpful with figuring out what was wrong. Walked away feeling very upset and not knowing anything new. Very disappointing.

President John Marshall and Jody Diers claim that they have a hold on the mental health crisis that has plagued both Grand Junction, and the CMU campus. Students have to wait unexceptionally long times to be seen by “professionals” that make them feel uncared for. No wonder nobody wants or seeks out support. Currently writing this as I have waited an extra hour for a CBC lab in the waiting room!

I had to take my daughter in to be seen on the 11th. It was her first time as an adult going to the doctor. The girl at the front counter, i believe her name was Alisha, was so friendly and helpful. They were really busy and she made my daughter feel comfortable and confident enough that she said she doesn't need me next time. Thank you for being so great and friendly and making it a positive experience. Adulthood, her she comes.
