Although I had a very negative experience and review for Dr Douglas Crowther from OCC I did have a completely opposite experience with Whitney the NP who I saw on Thursday 7/11/24 . Whitney sat down with me; went over the MRI explained everything, answered all my questions and treated me with care. When a person has fractured their back it is scary, very painful and deserving of TLC from the team they have entrusted their health and wellbeing to. Whitney Hoagland NP showed me that respect.

My visit with CCOE was outstanding. The location is well run and managed - clean, no lines, wonderful and efficient staff all around. My appointment was with Ashley Taylor, FNP, who was phenomenal! Took her time with me, explained things in detail, thorough on my exam, and promptly treated me. I would highly recommend Ashley and the center as a whole. Thank you!

I have had my share of doctors as a totally disabled veteran. Even here I have had a meniscus tear repaired by another doctor with a 10 year long diagnosis before another surgery. That was May 10, 2021. Well my neighbor cut that short by trying to run over me, intentionally on August 27, 2021. I had to have a total knee replacement in December 2021. Then a revision a year later. Then I had Dr. Lao a year later because of complications. He was very honest with me that it would never be the same but he wanted to perform arthroscopic surgery to see what the problem was and clean up the knee. He performed the surgery and it was great up until about four months ago. I recently saw him and he wanted to try a cortisone shot and if that didn’t work then arthroscopic again. He was honest with me. Treated me like you would wanted to be treated. Dr. Lao is great and I recommend him highly. I also recommend the staff at this facility. Five stars!

My 8 week post operative appointment was completed with Ashley Taylor, RN. She reviewed the Report Of Operation with me. She took the time to answer all of my questions, and retrieved a model of the shoulder to clearly explain the rotator cuff and the surgical procedures. She is very professional and is an excellent communicator.

Very impressed with the care I received. I saw Whitney, the NP. She was knowledgeable. Nailed what the problem is and was totally on top of referrals and sending in needed Scripts. When I had a f/u meeting, I was thrilled that she patiently answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel rushed.

The Colorado Center of Orthopedics was a great experience from beginning to end. The front office staff was cordial and supportive. Dee, the radiologist, was very professional and prepared. Ashley Taylor, RN, did a very thorough job of examining my shoulders. After the examination, Ashley used a shoulder model to explain what the X-Rays showed and after we discussed next steps. I highly recommend the Orthopedic Center and their staff.

I'm starting with the most amazing PT Kory Landers! My shoulder has made such great progress thanks to him! He was so kind and caring with all the pain I was having. I never went backward in my therapy. It was slow progress (in my mind), but he kept encouraging me that I was on the right track. Each week he would give me exercises to work for but never pushed so hard that I couldn't move the next day (I did that on my own when I got to eager and just thought "I'd try something to see if I could..."). Kory was very professional and seemed to just know exactly what I needed to do next. He also cared about the other therapies I was receiving and modified without complaint when I needed that. I watched him with other clients too and he was so kind and always cheerful with a great, positive attitude!
