Colonial Health & Rehab Center of Plainfield, LLC

This has to be the most inviting, happiest, cleanest rehab center I have ever been to. The lights and decorations by the front entrance really make a difference. The place smells CLEAN, and although I’ve only been on the “active” side of the facility, the sounds were HAPPY. People were chatting, heading to different locations for activities, etc. Our good friend, who is currently being cared for there, knows she is not returning home but feels so happy and cared for -by the staff. What more could you ask for?

I spent over a month here after breaking my ankle. The staff was fantastic. They were professional while at the same time providing compassionate care. I'm so glad I chose Colonial rehab. The food was better than I could have asked for. You can choose items from the menu for the day or choose something off a list of things that are available every day. The nursing staff was on top of everything. As hard as it was to be away from home, every staff member made it much more tolerable.

My mother recently arrived and was greeted by staff members to make her feel comfortable and secure. The facility is spotless, the staff is beyond outstanding and the services and entertainment provided by the staff is great for the residents. Put a bird feeder outside the window of your loved ones. The maintenance staff are quick to respond to any issues in the rooms and the food is quite exceptional. I consider this better than any facility in New London County and probably in Windham County as well. Title 19 is available which many places do not accept. Nothing worse than when the money starts running low to have your loved one tossed to the curb like some do. Not here! Everyone is treated with great civility, kindness and care. My mother is more than happy and loves the socializing with residents and staff. In addition I can sleep well knowing she's under terrific care. Five stars!!!!!

This was our third rehabilitation facility locally and the only one I would allow my husband to be sent back to. They took the time to get to know the client and what worked best for their needs. They were very compassionate and really worked overtime to making sure the clients were happy and being cared for properly. I loved the Staff and the dedication they showed to each and every client. I would highly recommend them over any of the facilities even the one that was supposed to be a 4 star. Keep up the good work you did a wonderful job and went out of the way to make his life as good as possible.

Residents are treated as family members. Multiple activities including games, religious services and entertainment are provided on a daily basis. Staff are rewarded periodically throughout the year with gifts of appreciation from the owners and administration staff such as pizza parties, ice cream socials, and activities during nursing home week. Administrative staff are helpful and can be used a resources. Residents, family and staff are encouraged to bring forth any issues or concerns so it can be addressed in a timely manner. Company is very community oriented and provides collections to various causes- Friday Jeans to American Heart, collections for local food banks, toy drives for community child for CCMC, collection for local animal shelter, free blood pressure screenings at local events to name a few. The facility is well maintained inside and out.

The nursing staff is caring and compassionate about each and every resident and their families.
