I saw Evan Little at Coal Creek PT in both the Boulder and Louisville locations. Evan is the best I've discovered in Colorado for PT needs. In my experience other physical therapists assign me a handful of exercises, then have me do them, then dismiss me to go do them at home. Evan is much more hands on--he helped advance my healing and get my body back into alignment via not only awesome exercises, but manual techniques that immediately released muscle tension. At times it even felt like I was getting a massage as part of the program. Couldn't be happier--thank you!

Through the years, I personally have been a patient at Coal Creek Physical Therapy (CCPT). Professionally, I am also an acupuncturist and am always looking for referrals where I feel there are open doors of communication to discuss patient care. We have had a long-standing, twenty-two year relationship with CCPT. Their therapist are a cut above and specialize in manual physical therapy which focuses on the spine. They have two locations, one in Boulder, and one in Louisville and they have a collaborative model of practice. Usually you are assigned at least two practitioners to make sure you are always able to get regular and consistent care. I love this as it focuses on the needs of the patient and allows for flexibility in scheduling. Lastly, besides providing recovery from injury, they also offer pelvic floor therapy. As a healthcare practitioner, and someone who frequently works with women postpartum, this is such a great asset. Women are always focused on labor and delivery, but there is a crucial part to "recovering" from childbirth to help women get back to doing the things they love. Most women (and men for that matter) are unaware of their pelvic floor muscles and what they need for stability and bladder control. This is a great offering at CCPT. I highly recommend this clinic. This review is specifically for Dr. Ashley Waggoner at Coal Creek Physical Therapy -- I have been Ashley's patient when she was doing massage therapy and more recently for physical therapy for my chronic knee and back issues. Ashley is extremely capable and has a sincere desire to help. She is very patient, has tremendous empathy, and a keen ability to understand the root cause of what ails you and to guide you on your road to recovery. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a fantastic physical therapist!
