CMH Outpatient Therapy & Occupational Health Services

The staff was polite, motivated, efficient and did their jobs well. 1. I had a muscle spasm in my left lower back and fell at 0400 in our bedroom. 2. My left knee was in pain. 3. My gait was not good. 4. I am a hunchback. J.P. Simanis, M.D., CAQSM, RMSK,FAAFP saw me, gave me some exercises and sent me to PT. He impressed me. Bob began PT. He and the team explained the exercises and I cooperated. After discharge, I have generally followed those exercises at home and at the CMH Health center. I have not fallen again--except once on ice near our lawyer's door. I went in to his office to see how bad I was hurt. ;~) (Actually, Dr. Louis Harris examined me--no bones broken, but a bad bruise.)
