Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital, Avon

The staff is very nice. All the therapists are very nice, but the food leaves alot to be desired. Also the cafeteria when my dad was here before used to be open in the morning to get berries and cream and such, and they used to be open longer for lunch for the families and staff. Now it was only open for a couple hours and didn't have as good of selection. My dad's care was always great though and he got intensive PT, OT and ST and that's what he needed.

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Lots of support and wrap around services with consistent attention to my every need. Appreciated the special and personal care taken by Gary the Food Services Manager to accommodate my plant based diet including a personal visit every day. Outstanding PT, OT, nursing care provided with care and attention tion to my specific circumstance. Highly recommend. Thank you to everyone!

I'm eternally greatfull. To this facility for a number of reasons. To Meagan a p.t. who helped me greatly regain strength and independence during the early stages of my leg amputation. To Joshua for drilling to me help correct posture and stability. James(the rockstar guy) who taught me independance in shower and grooming. Lastly to Bob aka (The Flash) who gave me valuable information with taught important exercises also made me feel a lot better in times I felt no hope.......thank you all

I have been to this facility several times the last two years. I would recommend this facility for anyone who needs nursing care or any type of therapy. From the head of the place all the way to the cleaning ladies there is not one person who doesn’t get to know you and give you their full attention when you see them. From the time you wake up until you are comfortably in bed at night you have their full attention. There are nothing but smiles and help here. I have seen physical, occupational, speech group therapy and when you finish each session you feel so much better. I have always believed that a smile is the best medicine you can take and this is the to get them. Every aid’s, nurses , and therapist has a smile always for you. You can talk to them and if they are unable to help you they will find someone who will. I would recommend this place above all rehabs I have been in. I would love to list the names of the aides, nurses and therapists that have. Taken care of me but there are so many that all I can say to the entire staff is THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Everyone….Absolutely everyone was so kind and helpful to me. The first few days were tough but the very caring therapist and nursing staff got me through each of those initial days. All of the therapy sessions were great. I want to give special attention to a few of them. Group therapy headed by Tim made me realize the importance of love and faith in my fellow hospital patients and Tim’s approach within the group made it a lot of fun. The single most important therapist was Amy. Amy would go out of her way every day to make me comfortable and more importantly share why the therapy was so very important and not give up. Her daily smile brought tears to my eyes and I will never forget how kind she was at sharing her own experiences and relating them to me and how much they could help in the future. Amy and I shared many a tear and I will always remember her final hug as I departed the great Cleveland Clinic Avon Rehab Center. Thank you so much.

The therapy staff was great. They helped me out a lot. I Like to thank Jordan, Brendan, Olivia, Alex, and the nursing aid staff treasure Stacy, RJ The nursing staff Sandeep Joelle Melissa and Catherineand to Dr. Villa Rosa everybody there was really great and I appreciate all the help that I got there

Excellent care from all personnel. Day and night staff RNs and aides professional, prompt and pleasant. Physical therapists well trained and creative. Same for Occupational therapists for ADLs. The medical staff is very attentive and available. Finally, for institutional food the meals were fine. The dietician is very knowledgeable and offered suggestions for my specific needs.

Okay, I went into the the regular Cleveland clinic, downtown and transferred to the Cleveland clinic rehabilitation hospital in Avon. Ohio in both places. I feel like I have received excellent care and service. And I'm very happy with both experiences. Thank you very much.
