My daughter had out patient foot surgery yesterday at Clay County and I couldn’t have entrusted her with better people! We had the best receptionist , nurses , cleaning lady and Dr Stewart 🥰 Thank you all for being such great individuals ! 💖

I wouldn't take my dog to this hospital! They are rude and hateful and don't know their heads from a hole in the ground! And don't even get me started on the dr in the emergency room! No bedside manners at all! I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this emergency room! They are absolutely ridiculous! The only reason I gave a 1 star I because it wouldn't let me give 0 stars! And don't try to contact administration to make a complaint. They won't do anything if you can even get them on the phone! They need to just shut the whole place down

Went to outpatient services. Our podiatrist comes to this facility once a month. We usually see him about every 10 weeks or so. His nurses are great and very knowledgeable. Of course we think Dr. Stewart is outstanding.

Went to the emergency room there and was treated so bad by the doctor that was on call that night the nurse that took care of me was very nice and caring but the doctor was rude and non caring and shouldn't be allowed to practice people go to the emergency room to be taken care of not to be treated bad. I will never go back there again...

The nurses are WONDERFUL! The facility is clean/easy to navigate. It's a small town hospital and the staff/nurses/doctor's reflect "southern hospitality" perfectly. I have never had surgery or any serious procedures at this facility, but I know many people that have and the majority speak highly of it. It's not perfect, but I can't think of any that are... To the people who see this review, I hope neither you or anyone you know/love ever need the services offered at any hospital, but rest assured that if you go to Clay County Hospital, they will take care of you or transfer you somewhere that can. Stay happy and healthy! ❤️🙏

Do not come there for detox if you want to be comfortable.i was sent home going through withdrawals and it was awful. The staff, nurses, and Dr’s are wonderful but the detox protocol isn’t well thought out and they really need to do something because it’s hard enough to get to the point of going and then to be sent home like that ... I have no words ! Very disappointing

Clay county hospital. Went to the ER Sunday January 2. Was sick with a bad sore throat. The girls at the window took my name and birthday. Then asked me to go outside and take a seat. I said where? She said outside. So out I went. A nurse came out gave me a different mask then took me to your outdoor room. Took my vitels n explained the test they were going to do. Proceeds to do the tests, for covid, flue, strept. She was very polite n professional. She left, the doctor came. Looked in my mouth from a distance, put his stethoscope on one spot on my chest and had me breathe deep n let out. Said lungs were clear( I thought i had two lungs ?) but were going to do n x-ray. X-ray tec came n got my x-ray done. She was very polite. Took me back to my outside rm. Nurse comes back gave me pills and explained I had covid. Told me I would be going home with script s. She left. Doctor come back. Peeks in the door tells me I have covid. He's sending me home with prescription s. Asked if I had any questions. I said no and he left. #1 why am I sitting outside. Glad it wasn't 10' outside. I understand I have covid. Iam a retired nurse n would never think of putting a PATIENT outside. There are steps you take to protect yourself. We had to use protective gear and scrub. It didn't matter if it was Aids, hepatitis, scabies, staff infection, ---- You treated people with dignity n respect. I can understand being nervous about covid. But the doctor could of dressed in protective clothing and come in the room to speak with me like I was human. Peeking through the door is not n option. You people need to get it together. I almost kept walking home, because I was told to wait outside. I was sick and I am HUMAN. I would of never stepped in your door if I wasn't sick. Not sure I will ever step back in your door again. I used to work for your hospital. It was never like that. I thank the Lord Iam retired.

The staff is friendly... The doctors at the ER are not very thorough on examinations and very unwilling to listen to concerns or explain anything. They talk down to you and at the end of the day you realize that you should have just waited for a doctor office to be open. Maybe that's the goal the strive for?
