I am writing this about the care my sister has received she went into the facility talking and communicating was to have Physical Therapy and speech therapy and in 3 weeks my sister has only gotten worse. She was not checked on daily we would find her not dressed only with a shirt on and a wet diaper no blankets , she fell out of bed. When we went to visit all her things were gone no one knew what happened to her things she was wearing someone else’s clothes no idea who’s , again we complained and the reply was we were going to move her to another room and decided not to. If you have a loved one at this facility move them the care there is terrible it’s always a social hour with the staff with no knowledge of how to care for patients

Beautiful facility, always smells clean which is very telling for nursing homes. You can always tell how well patients are taken care of by the appearance of the patients that are present in activities and in the common areas. All of the patients at Claremont are freshly groomed with fresh clean clothing on. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted by the friendliest staff. Claremont is a beautiful facility and all of their patients look well taken care of and very happy.

My mom has been here for five years now. This place is excellent. They’re very well attentive and the cleanliness is immaculate and I’ve been to several places where it smells like urine and number two not here very well kept and have activities for the elderly well they’re active my mom used to love playing bingo and getting her nails painted now my mom is bedridden and Staff have become family. I really appreciate every thing everyone does for my mom. She deserves nothing but the best.🫶

I was horrified that my mom was sent here when I read the recent reviews from the past year. Fortunately my experience so far with this place have been 5 stars. Especially with Erin who is the director of nursing. She thoroughly answered all of my questions until I was at ease about my mom's stay there. All of the other staff were pleasant as well. She was only recently transferred here so if anything changes I will update this review. But if you're reading this, it means I trust my mom's well being here so you should feel safe about your loved one as well.

Horrible place for any love one: My dad had suffered a stroke and went to this location to recover and have therapy. He arrived to this facility 9/22/2022 and on 9/26/2022 he complained to the nurse that he wasn’t feeling well, his arm was numb, and he had dry mouth to the point where he couldn’t talk anymore. The nurse told him to go to bed and that he couldn’t have anything to drink since the nurse prior to this one left a note saying that he couldn’t have anything to eat or drink due to him coughing so much. Keep in mind my dad was given dinner and water when I arrived to visit him around 6pm by the same nurse. In the beginning when he was admitted we provided my dad a cellphone just for communication. The nurse originally told us that it wasn’t necessary since they had 24 hour access. We are glad we gave him the phone because that night my father’s neighbor called us and on his end we heard screaming from my father saying he needed help and was begging my mother to come pick him up because something was wrong. I was fortunate that I only lived 5 minutes away so I was able to go to the facility at 10:30pm. When I arrived the nurse was on the phone with her supervisor trying to justify herself on her side instead of checking on my father. I had to personally ask her if she checked his vitals since he had a stroke before and because my father normally would never act like that, so to us something was wrong. Bottom line it took her about 40 minutes after asking me for advice even though I have no experience in the medical field, when she went into the room she came out with a panic look saying she needed to call 911. Once he arrived to San Antonio Hospital after this facility took a little more than an hour to figure things out feeling like a lifetime to have him suffering it turned out that my father suffered another stroke and because of the lack of experience at Claremont Care Center no one had the experience on knowing what a stroke looked like. If anyone is reading this and knows anyone who has also had problems with the same facility, knows someone we can talk to so we can file a complaint or who knows how to handle a situation such as this one please reach out to us so this never happens again.

My father just got admitted here and mother was here 2 years ago. I cannot say enough good things about the special care, compassion, professionalism and attention received by both my parents. Excellent, personalized care in every way Claremont Care provides. They go above and beyond in taking care of my 91 yr old father. Thank you.

This facility needs to be closed down and licensing taken away. My mother was transferred to Claremont Care from Pomona hospital at 2am in the morning. My mother called me from her cell phone to let me know that there was a man in her room. There also no curtains in her room. When I called the facility they informed me that this man wasn’t even a patient but a relative of the other woman in my moms rooms. I expressed that my mom didn’t feel comfortable with him sleeping in the room and felt unsafe, without privacy and dignity. I thought that I would get a response of “ we understand and he was given permission prior to there being a roommate but we will ask him to leave”. This did not happen. This facility allowed this man to sleep in a room with a elderly woman and disregarded her safety, privacy and dignity. I am looking into getting a lawyer for the emotional damage caused to my elderly mother and her family. Do not let your loved ones stay at this facility. They do not care and lack common sense judgement.
