Cimarron Place is one of the best nursing home facilities in Corpus Christi and the southern coastal bend. We accept most insurances, provide private and semi-private rooms. We specialize in skilled nursing for short-term rehabilitation. The leadership team works diligently to provide the safest transition back home or to the next level of care for the patient’s individual needs. We also provide long term care placement or respite care for individuals who are seeking care for a loved one whom requires 24hour care. It is with great compassion and patience that we provide your loved one with quality care.

This place seems clean when you enter but after being a patient there I wouldn't refer anyone there. Don't get me wrong during the day when the big ppl are there the cnas and nurses are attentive but 5 hits that all goes away. The nursess disappear and some of the cnas I had didn't care. I could push my help and wait up to 40 minutes or longer and no one came to help me I just had a major back surgery and high fall risk. When the cna would show up and ask if you needed help I'm like that's why I pushed it. I needed my pain meds cause they were over due ok let me tell your nurse but I said need help to the bathroom ok sat me down just for me to have to sit on the toilet not kidding another 30 minutes for them to help me back to bed. The nursess still had not given me my pain meds or to be found. This happened every night. I would call crying to my sister and she would have to call them just to get me help ridiculous. I was only there 4 nights. My last night there I pushed the button cause I needed to go to the bathroom it literally took them so long that I had to figure out how to get to the bathroom cause a lady they said didn't work there came in my room and moves my walker so when I stood up a peed my pants so embarrassing never in my life. So trying to make my way to the bathroom still no cna for help I ended up pulling 2 muscles in my doing this. So I'm yelling Murder out the door to get someone's attention cna came and looked at me you need help I'm crying cause of everything that just happened 😭 I said can you plz help me get clean pjs a wash cloth so I can wipe myself up. It took her another 10 minutes just to get wash clothes 🙄 I said I need my nurse or head nurse I hurt myself bad so she lft again not to come for along time remind you I'm still on the toilet. When she finally got back to me and get me to my bed no nurse. She said the nurse will come when she can basically saying she ain't coming. So just let you know they need a new nursing staff mid and night shift they kept my pain meds from me knowing of my condition.I will let you I did have some really good cnas that would help me out very well like angel n lexis, Jennifer, Zoe. What a shame I had to go through this and had to literally call from my phone or get my sister on them to do anything I even had to call my doctor out of surgery to contact them. Please don't leave your family members to this kind of treatment.

One of the best and cleanest skilled nursing facilities in town. We have many private rooms to be able to accommodate as many patients and their families during their rehab stay. Also, we have many activities during the day to make sure all patients and residents are staying active. Stop by for a tour! 😊

I had a friend in Cimarron recently that required skilled nursing and p/t and o/t care. The staff, from the BD Director, the Case Manager, the Director of Nursing to the individual nurses, physical therapy Director and her staff, and all the way to the CN's and housekeeping staff were very attentive and professional. You get back what you put into time in a rehab hospital. My friend was able to transition into another facility in order to complete his treatment course, guided by the staff there at Cimarron and has recovered nicely and is now able to go home. I recommend Cimarron and thank them all for the outstanding dedication to their work.

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the place itself. Everyone that works here has been very helpful and accommodating while my dad was here for rehab after his massive stroke. The therapy department has great OT and PT and has a variety of therapy equipment in a nice big space. The medical staff have been very kind and caring to my dad and with the other residents from what I’ve observed. The CNAs are very kind and caring and really work hard to keep residents comfy. Housekeeping always keeps everything clean and in order. The food service here is good. My dad is on a puréed diet and the food always tastes good and there is a variety that is served every day for all three meals. I would definitely recommend Cimarron Place whether it is for long or short term care.

We are profoundly disappointed with the outcome of our grandmother's stay at this facility. If negative stars were an option, we would undoubtedly choose them. Our grandmother stayed at this facility for slightly over two weeks. Unfortunately, the majority of the staff's performance was subpar, primarily involving socializing with coworkers rather than tending to her needs. They failed to check on her or provide assistance with essentials like drinking water and using the bathroom. Her condition worsened during her stay, and we strongly discourage considering this facility. To make matters worse, she often had to endure waiting periods of 45 minutes to an hour for restroom assistance, resulting in dehydration and necessitating a hospital visit today.

I want to give a shout out to one of the staff members, I put on the call light for my mother and within 2 minutes your medication aide Summer answered the light. She took my mother to the bathroom and cleaned her up and put her back to bed gently. She is very sweet and had such a positive attitude. Thank you Summer, it’s so nice to see a staff member with a smile and positive attitude.
