Chiron Physical Therapy

Excellent experience! I strained my adductor muscle in early June; found this place via Google and they were able to schedule me much more quickly than the PT I usually use :) They are flexible with scheduling and also very thorough - my "intake" exam was comprehensive, and the PT who put me through ROM and worked on me (whose name I should have gotten - he has gray hair, glasses, goatee) did a gentle, skillful adjustment to my pelvis that REALLY helped straighten me out - it was incredible! That (in fact) helped me so much that after being "untwisted", I was able to progress quickly through the strengthening exercises and only wound up needing 10 sessions. I want to give a shout out to Amber - she is WONDERFUL! Down to earth, kind, personable, a good listener and direct - and she is highly skilled at manual manipulation. I just loved her :) I ride horses and compete, and they took the time to find out how I was doing and progressing; their philosophy is to use lower weight and really target the muscles that need strengthening, along with the core. Everyone there is friendly and helpful - and they are effective! HIGHLY recommend them!

The front desk staff and therapists are amazing and very friendly. I’ve worked with therapists Courtney , Amber and Richard for my costocondritis and they are very very good and knowledgeable. Lot of places don’t treat or have the therapists to treat costocondritis. But chiron has wonderful therapists for this. Highly recommended. All the therapists and staffs are well coordinated and they attend everyone with great attention to detail. Thanks Chiron !!

I have two stories to tell: 1. I have had on-and-off neck pain for about fifteen years. For ten of those years, the pain was truly not bad. For the past five years, though, it became more frequent. With the busyness of life, I put off getting help. Eventually the pain got to the point that I wasn't sleeping through the night and I was in pain throughout the day. When I started going to Chiron in January 2024, I was in tears over the pain and exhaustion. PT was a financial and a time investment that I had to make. There was no quick fix, I had to do the work, I had to keep going to my appointments. The staff's kind rapport and confidence in the process kept me going. Over time, my pain lessened, I started sleeping better, I began turning my head with no pain and no restriction, and I was able to maintain good posture. I am amazed at what Chiron did for me. I still need to take care of my neck, shoulder, and pay attention to my posture. However, if I regress, I know where to go. Thank you Amber, Sean, Emily, Bryan, Lucky, Marvi, Meredith, and everyone else. 2. In October 2023, my daughter fell off the high bar at gymnastics and broke her arm in three places. The broken bone damaged her blood vessels and nerves. She had surgery, pins placed, and was casted to her shoulder and then wore a brace. Eventually, her surgeon cleared her to do activity and said she would "bounce back." However, we found that she was still guarding her arm and not fully using it. She had muscle atrophy in her hand from the nerve damage and several other problems with muscles, the elbow joint, etc. We tried a local PT clinic that specializes in upper extremities but it became clear very quickly that the therapist was unsure how to treat my daughter. John at Chiron evaluated her, knew exactly what was wrong, and knew exactly how to fix her. So, my daughter and I twinned at Chiron - I went in the mornings and took her after school. I was stunned (and a bit jealous!) at how quickly she regained mobility and strength. We could not have achieved this without their help. The staff also worked on the emotional side - encouraging her to try handstands and cartwheels at home. Her confidence has since blossomed and it is a relief to see her active once again. Our family is deeply grateful for the people at Chiron and grateful to know they are a resource should we need them in the future.

Once again the entire staff at Chiron excelled!! From the time I walked in there 2 years ago, they have made me feel like family. They have helped me prepare for three Ironman 70.3 races and each time I have pulled off a PR! Their knowledge and experience with both addressing nagging injuries to helping prevent them during intense training has been key for me getting to my races in top condition! I’ve never had physical therapy prior to finding Chiron PT. The day of my first appointment I was in pain and angry because of my auto accident. The staff took the time to evaluate my level of pain and developed a plan for treatment. After the first session of deep tissue laser massage, I immediately felt better. I left the office smiling. When I returned home, my wife said she noticed a difference in my attitude and demeanor. I want to thank the entire staff for your professionalism and dedication to patient care. I don't even know where to start in trying to express my thoughts on Chiron. Ya know when you read a review and it sounds great, but you always wonder if it really is THAT good? Well, Chiron is more then THAT GOOD! They have become family. I had 2 spine surgeries in 2 months time. The process of healing was way harder than I thought. Not just physically, but also emotionally. I can't tell you how many sessions I walked into, in tears, feeling embarrassed by my emotions and apologizing. Every time I walked out feeling encouraged and knew that all the therapists really got it and empathized.They know exactly what to say to build me up, encourage me that I will get better, and they work hard to make it happen. John and Lisa, thank you for creating such a positive culture to heal and be encouraged. Rich, Mike, Sean, Courtney, Amber, Brian, and Lucky, you guys are just amazing. Thank you for the laughs. I know I would not be where I am today if it weren't for you. Meredith, Joe, Courtney, Marvie and Lindsay, thank you for always being so cheery when I walk in and for asking how I am REALLY!! What front desk staff does that anymore? I am going to be glad to be better, but so sad to leave my family at Chiron. "Thank you" just isn't enough!

Hands down the best physical therapists in the area. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to patients recovery. They're also flexible and understanding off scheduling needs. They're therapy by committee, instead of a single assigned therapist, works really well. I wasn't sure about this at first but it works really well because the staff is very skilled and have great teamwork. Chiron Physical Therapy is my choice going forward and highly recommended.
