After being on the waitlist for speech we finally got in and after a year of going only to find out the speech therapist was opting for another job and left her patients high and dry back on the waitlist for the other speech therapist. My son needed an order for a compression vest and a weighted lap pad I had asked the director to email his OT to get it started and my waiver budget would end Within the month that I need it as soon as possible she then proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t her fault that my budget was ending . And that she couldn’t email the OT therapist on her day off. But I would have to wait to ask her the day of my therapy session and then wait another week for the order to be drawn up. All I was asking was for her to email the OT therapist mention to her what we was needing that way it could be ready the day of his therapy.

My son was in the Discovery Club social skills group for 8 years, from the younger kids' group to the high school group. The therapists and staff are so resourceful and really collaborate with parents for what works for each child. The social skills and life skill he will always benefit from, and he (and we) have made friends for life.

Dont do it!!! In March of 2019 I dropped off an application for speech. The application was multiple pages and I also had to provide a copy of my previous tax return. Upon dropping off the application, I was greeted by a lady that glanced over the application real quick and told me that my child should be in for speech possibly before his birthday in May.Also, I recieved a letter afterwards that he was on a waiting list. I waited, and waited, and waited. I even called and confirmed in early August that he was indeed still on the list. The lady answering the phone could not tell me how long the list was or how many people were ahead. Finally, I decided to try another place and got in by late September. One week after the evaluation at the new place I received a phone call from Childrens Therapy Clinic asking if I was still interested. I told them to keep us on the list in case something fell thru at the new place since the therapy sessions had not started yet. I am writing this review on October 30 and still have not been contacted. Another mom that I know stopped in to inquire this week and she was told that it would be a couple of months for her childs speech therapy so I decided to leave this review. Also, another mom said that her child went thru the same thing and gave up and went somewhere else. I realize that they try to keep a waiting list to keep clients but there comes a point where you are actually hurting a child from holding up their time. Just tell people you are not accepting applications at the time! Absolutely ridiculous!
