If I could assign zero stars, I would. In my experience, working with CRS has not yielded any benefits for my child. It is disheartening that parents in Alabama are compelled to rely on CRS to obtain wheelchairs for their children, as the process has proven to be excessively time-consuming. The inordinate delay of one year to acquire a wheelchair for a child who is unable to walk is unacceptable. Furthermore, it is unacceptable for the physical therapist at CRS to take more than two months to submit a letter of medical need. The process of attending multiple appointments, missing work, and school, and still not having a wheelchair is utterly absurd. It is imperative that CRS reevaluates its practices. I sincerely hope that the State of Alabama will consider alternatives to CRS, as the program's insufficient funding prevents the recruitment of competent personnel and impedes its ability to cater to patients throughout the state effectively. It is perplexing why numerous regional programs at CRS locations and why CRS still exists. Alabama certainly deserves better. Unfortunately, entrusting the well-being of a non-ambulatory child to adults who clearly demonstrate a lack of concern is not the situation I had hoped for.
