Well our visit to Children's of Alabama to the Sports Medicine Clinic was an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! I scheduled his appointment for 1pm however the texts they sent said 2 so whatever we will go at 2.. Get there at a little after 2 because road work downtown plus finding parking.. Sat in the waiting room for 15mins than a nurse called Marcus and she directed us where to go and did not speak to us any further other than to say the Dr would be in shortly. We sat back in the exam room for 1hr and 10 min waiting on the Dr. It was so cold in that room I had to open the door to let some of the cold air out and By the time the Dr came in my legs and arms and lips were purple (Germs aside yall doctors offices overdo it with the air conditioning) The Dr my son saw had to beat least early 80s. He was wobbly and moving very slowly. Came in and bent my sons legs than said he's gonna order an MRI. Spent all that time waiting just just for him to spend 10min tops with my son. The nurses we had contact with today were rude and had no personality. Especially the one we had. We will not go back. I'll be calling his primary tomorrow for a different referral. This is the most upset I've ever been leaving a Dr appointment!! Very disappointed!!

We were visiting the doctor William Price Garth, and his behavior was bad. When I asked him, he said, “Didn’t you hear what I said a little while ago?” and he was saying inconsistent things. I don’t know if he was a racist because I was a Muslim, or if his problem was with me.

My son AJ received the best care at Children's Sports Medicine. Dr Garth is awesome at what he does. My son is just about ready to go back to playing sports.
