Hard to get a hold of and make appointments with (regardless of how far out the appointment needs to be). They also aren't great at calling back. Additionally, they are also constantly booked. When we finally got an appointment with them, it was subpar care at best. We need therapy for our son who can't eat normal food and the food therapist ignored our comments on what we had already tried and suggested our homework was to try all the things we'd just shared that we had already tried. They completely ignored our words/concerns or never listened to begin with. Either way, we were not impressed with the care we received for our son. (This is after completing two therapy sessions.) We're at a loss now of how to help our child, but not sure what else options we have.

Literally the worst PT that I have experienced in my life. My son went there for his knee. His orthopedic (whom we like) said 4-6 weeks of rehab, but he would be surprised if it took more than the 4 weeks. We went to the PT initial evaluation and they echoed the same thing as the Orthopedic. We were told that based on his healing, it shouldn't take long and if we were to go twice a week for an hour a session, the 4 week time frame would be feasible. We were told that we wouldn't be able to be in his PT sessions going forward, but we could drop him off and pick him up later. They gave us a list of exercises to complete daily. After that initial appointment, that is where it went down hill. Despite numerous requests, we were unable to talk to a PT during his time. I was told that we could look at the mychart for notes, to which there were not any from the PT. Despite him doing the at home exercises to the point that they were easy, and the PT's knowing we have nearly a full gym at home, his at home exercises did not change. When I asked my son what he was doing during his time, he said that it was pretty much what he was doing at home. I started telling him to tell the PT's directly that I wanted to speak with them, or had him go in and ask specific questions, to which he said they brushed him off or deflected his questions. When I told the center that I was pulling my kid, a PT finally came out and spoke to me and said that they were worried that we were pulling him because he is not done yet, and that he couldn't do a squat with his knee because it was unstable. When I got an unofficial second opinion from a friend who is a PT, (went over the at home, the frequency, the stuff done in clinic, and then a review of where he was at), he recommended getting another opinion from another clinic because he should have been further along. Needless to say, their lack of communication and transparency is the reason we won't be back. It feels more like a cash grab instead of people trying to make sure that children are rehabilitating.

Don’t do feeding therapy here. There are lots of speech therapists in Marietta who do feeding therapy. Pick a different option.
