Children in Motion did an amazing job understanding and helping my son become more successful in home and school environments. Michaelene and other OT's that my son worked with were patient, fun, and family-centered in their treatment approach. They took the time to understand his individual needs. He made great progress and I would recommend Children in Motion to anyone looking for a caring, sensory-based approach to occupational therapy.

Michaelene has been a world of knowledge in help with my six year old Sensory Processing behaviors. My daughter learned many strategies on how to manage her energy in activities and in turn I was educated on how to practice with her at home. Her tolerance to do activities without meltdowns are so much better and her approach to focus in her schoolwork and interaction with family has shown much improvement!! Best decision I made.
We’ve been extremely happy with Children in Motion team. Michaelene has been extremely thorough and organized. Both kids immediately connected with her. The kids were getting services in a daycare; hence, we would received updates and even calls to catch up, get parent training, and brainstorm solutions. Great advice, too! We are very grateful for everything and highly recommend Children In Motion.
Michaelene has been a great therapist, friend, confidante, etc. for our daughter over the last few years. She’s always kind and has come up with creative ways (that are relevant to our daughter’s interests) to help develop her skills.
Michaelene and her team are knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate providers. In addition to her knowledge of fine motor development in children, Michaelene's deep awareness of sensory processing really stands out.
