Childersburg VA Clinic

Dr. Hassan is my primary care physician. He is not responsive to your needs and doesn't address my concerns. I will look for a new physician going forward. 🫤

Childersburg VA has an excellent staff, Especially Dr.Michail Shakhmatov. Dr. Shak is very thorough and always takes whatever time is needed to listen to you, and make sure you get the best care. I have been in the VA system for 30 years, and this facility is A1.

I was concerned about having my first VA physical. This visit was excellent. Wait time was less than 5 min. My primary care doctor was very thorough. It was the best exam I have had since first joining the navy 30 years ago. He touched, twisted, and prodded every inch of my body looking for any concerns or problems. He spent at least an hour going over my health with my wife and I. The lab tech was very good at jabbing needles in my arm. I didnt feel a thing. She was also very nice. The only concern I have is the length it takes to get my initial prescriptions. I wish they had a pharmacy on site.

As long as Dr. Hussein isn't your doctor you should be fine. He is an absolute useless individual that could care less about anything or any Vet. I've had nothing but terrible experiences with this Dr. On a different note the other doctors I use there are absolutely awesome.

Mr. Burchfield np was great! The treatment and attention/diagnosis understanding I received to make my pain go away and be able to sleep at night I can't thank him enough. After 3 visits to other va facility.... Thank you!

The staff are awesome; friendly, concerned for YOUR health, and very helpful if you have questions.
