Chickadee Physical Therapy

I recently completed four weeks of PT for a meniscus injury and a sore rotator cuff. Casey did a thorough evaluation of my back, hip, ankle and foot in addition to my knee and shoulder. Then we started exercises to help me recover. Casey was always open to my questions and I learned a lot about how to continue my exercises at home. I couldn't be happier with the treatments and highly recommend Chickadee Physical Therapy!

I love their space and the attention to detail with everything they do from setting up appointments, sending reminders and flexibility. Casey Cottle has provided professional therapy after both my hip replacements and listens to my concerns about what therapy will provide me with the best recovery. I first began seeing Christina in 2022 when she worked at Maine and followed her to Chickadee. Over several months she helped me through several difficult issues, with knowledge, genuine concern, professionalism and care. I’ve been to a number of PTs over the years and I rate her as, “simply the best.” I appreciate the private one-on-one time in addition to personalized exercises in the gym. I also value her holistic “Body, mind and spirit” approach. She’s a gem. She is also able to keep explanations simple and use creative methods to clarify issues. I’m an older person so I know I’ll be aging out with her as a member of my wellness team! Jen is always friendly, personable and knowledgeable about insurance. While I haven’t worked with Casey I’ve heard glowing reviews. A+++

I would highly recommend Chickadee Physical Therapy. I have worked with Christina now 2 times for completely different issues. She is a very well educated professional who is not only extremely knowledgeable , but also very caring and empathetic, paying close attention to your individual needs. She worked with me to put together a very specific program for my problems and adjusted it as time went on according to what I needed. Both times she was able to make a huge difference in my recovery. I also have a friend who has worked with Casey twice and although I have not worked with him personally, he is highly regarded by her and has helped her with her issues to make a significant recovery both times.

I have tried many different PT places as well as chiropractors. They were all very nice but none were able to help me with the pain I was experiencing in my back and hips due to arthritis. Christina is a miracle worker! I appreciated that she listened to me, asked questions and explained things clearly. She worked one on one with me and did not split her time among multiple clients. She kept things simple by having me focus on a couple things in between visits. A month ago I considered leaving my job because I could not tolerate the pain I was experiencing. I just finished working 4 days in a row pain free! I could not have done that a month ago. Twenty years ago I gave up running because of my back pain. I met with Casey and he was able to do an analysis and show me how I could resume running while protecting my back. I am a 62 year old grandmother with 3 grandsons so I am thrilled to be able to live an active pain free life! Thank You Christina & Casey, you have changed my life!!

I am very glad to have found Chickadee PT and grateful for their excellent care. In 4 short weeks thanks to them, my injured knee is in better working order. Two highly professional and deeply knowledgeable Physical Therapy practitioners have opened a practice on the Bath Road in Brunswick. I had been a patient of both Christina and Casey over the winter and Spring of 2023 at their previous practice. Their holistic approach to total body health improved my physical (and subsequently my mental/emotional) wellbeing substantially. Thus, I sought them out at Chickadee Physical Therapy in 2024. This new location is accessible, parking is generous and the ambiance is welcoming. Their office manager, Jen is efficient and helpful and can navigate the complexities of insurance. The decor of the new center is inviting and calming. But most important is the expertise, experience and knowledge base of the practitioners. Their approach is one of collaboration with one another and with their clients. In talking to a friend about our experiences with these Physical Therapists we came up with the following descriptors: professional; competent; attentive; up to date with current advances in treatments; individualized creative therapy programers; client centered and focused listeners.
