There's physical therapists and then there's Dr. Bob Baker. I've been seeing Bob since experiencing a major ankle injury (complete/partial tears of three ligaments) last year. The injury was extremely painful and kept me on an ankle scooter for about 2 months. Desperate to begin PT once cleared by my Ortho, everyone I called was booking 4 to 6 weeks out, and through sheer luck I came across Challenger Sports in a web search. Bob was eager to help me start my road to recovery and even saw me on a weekend for my initial appointment. After several months of focused rehabilitation and hands-on work, I'm back to regular running, hiking, and keeping up with my three kids! In fact, Bob has helped my fix some other issues along the way. I'm confident that I wouldn't be in nearly such great shape if it weren't for Bob's exceptional skill and care. My Ortho has also commented on how impressed she is with my recovery. I can't recommend Bob enough!

Both my wife and I started seeing Bob for different reasons, she had a bulged disc that was severely limiting her movements, and I had been suffering with pain in both shoulders. Bob was able to diagnose us and provide treatment that helped us learn more about how our bodies should move, and get us to where we were basically pain-free. I had been to physical therapy in the past, but never did I have a therapist that understood movement from an athletic perspective. We are both back to weight training, walking and living our best life. I recommend Bob at Challenger Sports Physical Therapy to all of my contacts.
Bob is very good at his craft. My son had a back injury from wrestling and Bob was able to get him back on his feet within a few weeks. Also guided him to strengthening his core for better performance and prevention. Very patient and knowledgeable.
