Hello, My name is Greg Acevedo. I've been attending CNS since mid-February. After I had sustained a brain injury from lack of oxygen due to multiple cardiac arrests, I needed rehabilitation. I'd heard of the Centre for Neuro Skills and I wanted to go badly. When I arrived I used a cane and was very unsure in all of my movements. The therapists have been wonderful. Their patience and persistence have allowed me to improve tremendously. My confidence and strength are now to a point where I'm stronger than before my injury. The patients are encouraging and supportive. All of the staff are dedicated and focused on your improvement. I would recommend CNS to anyone that's had any brain injury. As Dr. Prasad says "Everyone at CNS has a big heart".

I’ve been attending the center for 2 years, I have enjoyed my time at Cns. Jelissa in physical therapy helped me regain my strength in my legs. Natasha in Cognitive Rehab helped with my memory loss and thinking. Counseling sessions helped me overcome my depression spells. The facility itself is very clean and maintained. It’s a pleasant environment, well air conditioned! My time in Enrichment is also nice, the ladies, Veronica, Kymani and Debbie are all helpful and nice. I feel my case manager tends to my needs and listens to my concerns. I’ve never had any issues with transportation and my stay in the residential home was also time well spent and Useful. The workers there helped me with anything needed. I would recommend CNS to anyone that asks.

I came to CNS in April of 2023. The staff, nurses and therapists quickly put my mind at ease. Their professionalism and kindness really made me feel cared for. I would recommend CNS to anyone who needs it. 👍👍

My friend have a ‏tragedy in his life because of CNS. they are hypocrite. they will do anything to help your insurance to stop paying for your treatment because they have business with your insurance. My friend had big accident at work and he got brain injury and lost his memory and have another problems in his life daily functions after staying in this facility for 11 months. He didn’t get any better so his attorney requested moving him from there because unprofessional people in this system helping insurance instead of patient and stop paying anything to the patient in older to help him get better and back to his family. After CNS knows the request for moving my friend from there to another facility they started reporting that my friend is already recovered and able to back to work. So the insurance stopped paying my friend’s needs to recover faster. Now he is staying home with his disability and can’t live his life at all like before the accident. how in the earth you CNS can Damage people life like that? My advice for anyone having accidents ask your attorney to keep you away from CNS facility

I was the Guardian ad Litem for a friend who was in a horrific car accident and suffered from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), among other injuries. CNS provided 7 months of care, totaling over $820K, no small amount. While they offer top notch care for TBI patients, the problem came once my friend was awarded his settlement. CNS didn't reduce a single PENNY off of their original billed amount of $820K. All other healthcare facilities associated with my friends care (Cedars Sinai, Rancho Los Amigos, MediCal), to name a few, reduced their billed amount. Resulting in more money to my disabled friend who will need this money to last the rest of his life. So does CNS care more about their patients, or the money? I think their actions speak for themselves. Word to the wise. Have your attorney negotiate the charges before checking in.

I was impressed by genuine care by all the therapist. They took care of me as if I was their sister’s kid. Words cannot describe the tears of joy on my mom’s eyes the day I walked to her arm without any walker or help. I know my insurance paid for their services, but I wish I had more money to give them as an extra thank you. I am in debt to every one of my therapist till my last day on Earth. As some one who is familiar with big corporations BS, I need to let everyone know that this business is family owned and operated. Their goal is to help people who need help, not to satisfy some big shareholder ( FAT CAT) in God knows where. I highly recommend this center to people with brain injuries. They are extremely well trained, and dedicated to their patients.

I attended Center for Nero skills for 8 months after my accident. I must tell you this place is not designed to help you reenter the world. If you're going to live in a preschool center The rest of your life, then they do a great job. They work Well on a regular basis to make you doubt yourself, you doubt the fact that you're capable of doing anything without help. I can't count the number of times I started my statements with "have I told you?" Because CNS did a good job of making me think I would be wrong. If you're looking for help with post dramatic stress this place will also not help you. They are in no way designed to help with post dramatic stress. And I'll say it again, they give you no skills to reenter society. If you're now looking for an alternative solution I have one. This is the part of my story where you'll think I'm crazy and believe nothing I've said thus far. After CNS I had tremendous success in a bartending school. I had to memorize over 200 various drink combinations, it worked on both my short and long-term memory. Having to make the drinks quickly worked on my hand eye coordination. The entire experience helped vastly with my social skills. And made me more confident interacting with real people. The entire place cost me a little over $400 as opposed to $20,000 a month. if you've had a brain injury I've been there! it's a shitty road and it may seem like you'll never heal. Have the attitude to stay strong! it will take a long time but you will get better! I guarantee it! And you don't need CNS to do that.
