Central County Adult Mental Health Services

This place has been a godsend. I have been going here since 2015. I saw a grief therapist for a few months, she was great. Front staff is pleasant. Yes sometimes there is a wait but life happens drs get behind. Dr rosowski (I can never spell it right) is absolutely phenomenal. He saw me before my husband passed and has continued to see me since. I will be devastated if he ever retires. I am impressed with the level of care and patience offered here. These staff have a lot to deal with especially offering a walk in mental health clinic. I am grateful this place is here and have gotten great much needed mental health help.

1 star psychiatry, 5 star therapist Sherry. So I have Bipolar and I have finally made it out of my hole and have good insurance coming. Fantastic job. So thankfully I can say its over. I have 3 psychiatrist names on my pill bottles. Despite the instability there I've requested several times for my meds to be filled the week im writing this. Nothing. So I'm basically going to have to tough it out for half a month with no meds suddenly. Until I can meet my new psych. Which also will effect my job potentially which may put me back into the same spot I was in. Get out as soon as you can. There's no stability. I feel written off. And I'm going to suddenly be off all of my meds for an extended duration. I hope I'm strong enough to never come back. I feel worthless. Overlooked. Less than. Perfect for my mental health. Dontcha think?

this place is awful the doctor do not tend to patients medication need they don't not listen when you need your medication change if you complain about the doctor nothing gets done they brush you off i been trying to get my medication changed and the doctor refuse to listen the case works don't really care they sit idly by or forget appointments they they set and i stay away from contra costa county health system almeda has a far better system then contra costa and the county does not seem concerned with it patients i even talked with the county and they did not seem concerned either stay away if at all possible cause you will just get worse and the doctor there are semi retired and you wont get the proper help you need
