This review is long over due. I was a first time mom when I met Christine. I was scared and nervous about how to help my son. Christine was very professional and recommended a plan to start working with my son. It was very overwhelming but I wanted my son to get the help he needed so he can hit his milestones. Christine not only helped my son hit all his milestones each month but gave him the foundation to thrive. She guided us through everything we needed and kept my husband and I informed with everything that needed to be accomplished. I will be forever grateful to Christine for giving us the tools and skill set to help in my child’s developmental journey. I highly recommend Christine for any Oral tie needs.

We found Dr. Christine when my eldest son was 3 months old to help with various issues, including significant feeding/latching issues. As first-time parents we came in worried and overwhelmed but left feeling reassured and empowered. Christine has this calm, warm, and confident energy to her which we found extremely grounding. She truly is an expert in her field, and her knowledge speaks for itself through the way she notices the smallest details, and how they correlate with one another. She was very transparent with her rates, as well as the vision she had for our son’s treatment plan. She followed up with us in between sessions to ensure that we were keeping up with the exercises, and always encouraged us to send her videos if we had any concerns or if we weren’t sure whether we were doing them correctly. Fast forward a couple of years my second son needed a frenectomy to release a moderate-severe tongue tie. Christine connected us with her team of providers (chiropractor, lactation consultant, pediatric dentist,) all of which are also experts in their field. It was so helpful to readily be able to reach out to providers we knew we could trust, and who also worked and communicated with one another in order to make the process as seamless and comfortable as possible. She helped us navigate through the post-op and recovery care, and even made it a point to meet me at her office on a day off because I questioned whether I was being thorough enough, and worried about reattachment. I’ll never forget how grateful and relieved I felt knowing that we were under the care of a provider who would not only go out of her way to ensure the proper healing of my baby, but also be the emotional support person that this very tired mama needed. Thank you for all that you’ve done for our little family!

I have had the pleasure of being mentored by Christine and truly value the time spent with her! Christine has a wealth of knowledge in regard to feeding therapy, tethered oral tissues, and treating babies. She is very articulate, has well-organized materials and lectures, and truly takes the time to make sure you feel supported. What I enjoyed most is being able to see her treat clients. She is so thoughtful with why and how she delivers information to overwhelmed families. Not to mention, she has such a gentle touch with these babies. Anyone can learn a great deal from her! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience with Christine and can't recommend her highly enough! We came to her when our son was 2 1/2 months old and suffering from a slew of feeding issues. Christine become personally invested in our case and went above and beyond to treat the underlying root causes with incredible empathy, knowledge, and dedication. I don't know what we would have done without her!

We are so grateful and appreciative for the exceptional care and support our OT Christine provided to our family during our baby's journey with her tongue tie release. From the moment we had our prenatal consultation, we knew we were in the hands of a compassionate and knowledgeable professional. Her warmth, empathy, and genuine dedication to her work were evident from the start, and we felt reassured knowing that she would be guiding us through this important process. Her thorough occupational therapy evaluation not only provided valuable insights into our baby's condition but also helped us understand the potential challenges and opportunities ahead. Her expertise and attention to detail gave us confidence as we navigated the pre-frenectomy phase, and her unwavering support never wavered throughout the entire process. The pre and post frenectomy support both she and her team offered was truly invaluable. Her guidance and encouragement helped us prepare both emotionally and practically for the procedure, and her continued support afterward ensured a smooth recovery for our baby. Her dedication to our baby's well-being went above and beyond our expectations, and we are forever grateful for her unwavering commitment to her health and happiness. In addition to her outstanding clinical skills, her support with my breastfeeding journey was a game-changer for us. Her expert advice, patience, and encouragement gave me the confidence I needed to navigate the challenges and joys of breastfeeding, and I am delighted to say that my breastfeeding journey has been and continues to be a success. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for the positive impact she have had on our (and our baby girls) lives. Her professionalism, kindness, and expertise have made all the difference, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had her as our occupational therapist. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of expert pediatric occupational therapy services. Christine is a true gem, and we are forever grateful for the love and support she have shown our family.

Christine saved us! Christine is like no health care provider we’ve ever met: super skilled and knowledgeable, funny, warm, generous, kind, a joy to talk to. Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding and just everything was a struggle with our baby W being a preemie and having tongue and cheek tie. Before we saw Christine we saw three specialists who had each given us different exercises to do with W. We were having a hard time trying to do these exercises while managing life with a newborn. Christine could see my partner and I were dysregulated and that was making things harder. We went over with Christine the pages of exercises we were doing. Christine made it possible for us to focus on love and snuggling. She showed us how to do tummy time and a little oral play with W. These exercises were so fun and connecting to W, who was now an active participant and enjoying as opposed to exercises we’d been doing where W was mostly passive. Chrtistine coached us on how we ourselves could self-regulate while caring for W, and this was huge. Christine also reduced our overwhelm by coordinating with the other specialists and letting us know when it was time for us to see one of them. Following Christine’s clear treatment plan has given us confidence and helped W and us so much it’s hard imagine where we’d be without her. In between visits Christine checks in and we send her videos, for example of feeding W, and she gives us gives us specific and easy-to-follow feedback. Thanks to Christine W was able to benefit from tongue and cheek tie release much more because her plan got him stronger and more coordinated going into the surgery. Christine was our rock - guiding us on the decision to do the tie releases and as we did the after-care stretches - which W definitely got annoyed about. Thanks to Christine’s guidance the wounds healed well, enabling W to feed and do it all night-and-day easier. Christine is our go-to for any developmental question and milestone, like at our last visit having a blast and learning what we needed as W tried solids (including a pork chop!) for the first time. Going to Christine’s tummy time centered gatherings with client families has been so great for W making first baby friends and us connecting with other parents who we seem to have a lot in common with because their babies also needed Christine’s help. Her office is an inviting place and COVID-safe. Working with Christine (and it never feels like work!) is the best thing that’s happened for our baby and family and we can’t recommend her highly enough.

I know Christine as a colleague, mentor, and friend. In the time I have come to know her, her mentorship to me as an OT has been a catalyst in my work and knowledge, particularly with infant care. Christine’s mentorship brings not only academic knowledge, but encouragement and vision for personal growth, and has been invaluable. Naomi Matanick-OTR/L

Dr. Nguyen has been there from the beginning of my pregnancy. I came to her for a consultation to be aware of what to look for such as a tongue or lip tie. Turns out my daughter has both. My daughter was having difficulties breastfeeding and she provided OT support in the beginning which helped a lot. However, we were still having difficulty with feeding which, she then referred me to Dr. Choi for a consultation and was present to guide the consultation. She was there post frenectomy and gave me the emotional support that I needed. I am very grateful to her and Dr. Choi! I couldn’t have done this without them! Thank you!
