My mother has received therapy services 3 times in the past 4 years in Bomar. She has received excellent care and support each time. The staff there is very caring. There is no other place I can suggest. The only suggestion I would make is, make sure that the hospital sends the referral to Bomar. Let Bomar make the determination if you or your loved one meet the criteria. I have found some of the doctors and PA don’t know what their talking about when it come to the criteria.

My mom had back surgery, sent to another facility( not Bomar). Horrible experience. Bedridden not coherent, just awful. Brought home, 2 ambulance rides later, with the help of her Dr and administrators at Bomar (after hours, off time) got her admitted to Bomar.. Thank God!! She spent two weeks there and I cannot stress the difference that it made. They took very very good care of her. . Treated her like family. Of course she's not totally healed, her back surgery t2 thru 5 is a huge surgery for a 70yr old. But they got her from being bedridden to a walker with assistance. Able to bathe, do the basics, get out bed, go to bathroom. They helped her heal physically and Emotionally as well. They work hard (PT) all the while being supportive and nurturing. The staff there is absolutely amazing.. She now believes in herself again, knows she will get more independent and get to go home again where she lives alone.

The staff is very caring and attentive. Good people.
