We are very pleased and now have peace of mind with the kindful, care and attention my mom has received at this clinic! We had gone to 3 different nursing facilities prior to Casas, all had brought discouragement, frustration and worry to our family. Kudos to the wonderful nurses, doctors, staff, therapists and CNA's - especially Maria T, Donna C & Lisa M! The wonderful ladies in the front, especially Firdaus, Jacqueline and Dawn! - THANK YOU SOO MUCH for all that you do! You are appreciated!

PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! DO NOT! Choose this "care center" to send a loved one to. They absolutely do not care about the patients there. They do not check on the patients and do not care for their daily needs like take the trash out. My loved one is currently a patient there and in a wheelchair not able to get the simple things on his own, like ice or water. The staff does not bring the patients water or ice throughout the day. And if the patients request a refill it takes the staff hours to bring it. My loved one does not receives a shower every 5 or 6 days. The food is awful. Today the scrambled eggs looked like cold mashed potatoes and can't tell what if any meat was used to make what looks like a burrito. The food is always cold and resemblance of mushed dog food. If I knew how to get the state board involved to investigate this center I would do so! Disgraceful to treat people in this way. If someone can pass on this review to get the state involved I would really appreciate it greatly. If but is happening to my loved one then it is happening with all the patients who don't want to make a complaint.

My father was there for two weeks and it was very hard to leave our dad there the first night. But the nurses there made us feel so comfortable that after that we had no problem. My sister and I appreciate everyone who cared for my dad. To name a few, Shannon, Q. Shameka, Maria, and Michelle. You're all so awesome and we thank you for what you do. PT was great as well. Thank you all for the care of our father.

I want to thank Delia for being such a good-hearted nurse. She has made my stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. I admire her for being such an amazing person and nurse. Thank you, Delia!

My Brother Alvin stayed on Casa Adobe for about year. He sadly Passed in July of this year. I was pleased at how attentive. They were to his needs. The facilities were always clean and they allowed personsl decorations, which he enjoyed. One person in particular made his stay comfortable. That wonderful lady is Autumn Bishop. You could tell how Autumn treated all the patients. With genuine love. Some people do a job and some people really Care. Autumn was always on time with Alvin's needs. She treated him with dignity when she had to bathe or help him use the restroom. Everyone on her floor, just brightens up around her. I wish everyone was as competent and caring as this wonderful lady. Thank You.

My aunt is staying here In the 600 area and the nurses are so rude, so much attitude , you ask questions about how your family member is doing and they are so rude, and have rude looks on their faces.. being in the health care facility they should be more compassionate, and just nice! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE ! Positive note the activities gal is super sweet, and the red head nurse/CNA is really kind

Re: CNA Michelle A Re: CNA Lisa M Re: CNA Thanh Re: CNA “Alex” (high school/college student) I’m having difficulty trying to write separate reviews, so these reviews will be included in one post. Re: CNA Michelle A Sometimes you can be surprised when another extends of themselves to take care of an individual in a care facility...to treat you as more than a job, but as a human being...a person. Recently I have become ill, which has made things a bit difficult. Not only does Michelle check on me as much as feasible to do so (they are very busy, after all...l am not the only patient). She asks me frequently: do I need anything; how am I feeling; or if I need anything. Every time she has to do “patient care" she does it well...with care as if she was taking care of her own family member. Realizing that my daughter wasn't able to visit over the weekend, she brought me something that my daughter had planned to bring to ease my throat while sipping on some tea. Unexpected kindness made my day...honestly, it does not take much to make an effort to help ease another person’s suffering thus helping with their health and wellbeing. Such care from one of their staff members says a lot in my book. Thank you Michelle for treating me more than a person stuck in a hospital bed. ———- Re: CNA Lisa M Although my dealings with Lisa M were not that frequent due to her being on another hall, however, she left quite an impression on me with her professionalism and thorough care for her patient (me). Plus her observation skills are top notch! As I was leaving for PT, she noticed I had left my rescue inhaler behind and grabbed it for me without my need to ask. To say I was speechless would be putting it mildly. Attention to detail goes a long way. ——— Re: CNA Thanh Don’t let her size fool you. She is a “go-getter”….a person who strives to do an outstanding job with her patients and she does it with both professionalism and a smile. After her care, I feel so much better. She challenges my mind, which is nice to do so especially when stuck in a rehab center far from home. Sorry, Thanh, I didn’t get to leave a short note for you as I promised. Unfortunately, things took a turn that day. I am glad that I got to see you briefly. Keep striving for your dream! ——— Re: CNA “Alex” (high school/college student) To say that this young CNA did such a phenomenal job would be an understatement. She made me feel cared for…she treated me as a person and not just another patient…not just another job “to be done”. In our conversations during patient care, I come to find out that this fine young lady was not only still in high school, but that she was getting college credits in addition to her high school credits plus working on top of her dual classes. I’m impressed. It says a lot about a persons character. I see her going far in life. She did exemplary patient care with me…as I am sure she had done with others. She is an asset to any organization who wants to hire her. Alex…thank you for brightening my day and making it sweeter than “candy”.

I would like to say that my CNA Jennifer R. was amazing. She helped me through physical and mental things that I had to do while I was at Casas. When I didn't think I could do it she could gently talk me through it. I had others that were great too but she is kind and wonderful. Thank you Jennifer you're awesome.
