I typically only post uplifting reviews. This is not going to be one of those. I had taken my daughter to the hospital on Saturday evening November 18 I believe 2023. She was in the middle of a traumatizing medical issue as are most people when they come to the hospital. The doctor on shift Dr. Raz. was amazing, kind, thorough and gentle with his words. This particular evening, my daughter needed an abdominal ultrasound to see what was going on. We were told that we needed to wait an hour for the ultrasound tech to be called in. This was not an issue it was late, around 10:30 or 11 pm. After the ultrasound, we waited for about 3 hours before finally asking when we would get the results of this ultrasound. At that point the doctor came in and explained to us that he had no control over the radiology staff, and there was only one for all the hospitals at this hour. He informed us that it could be another 5 to 6 hours before we got the results. Well, that was going to be an undoable wait for us, as we knew what was going on just simply needed pain management. At that time we were told that the nurse would come in in about five minutes and administer that because the ER staff was “not the hold up”, it was radiology. Totally get it. About an hour later I popped my head out to see if somebody would come in and administer the meds that we were promised in five minutes. I was greeted with a very short “yeah, I’ll be with you in a minute”. In a very put out tone and before I could even get a word out. About 10 minutes later, a nurse named Adriane came in to my daughters room with discharge papers. Amidst this discharge time, I ask her “Before you discharge her. Are you going to give her the medication that the doctor prescribed an hour ago”. Nurse Adriane’s response was pure and blatant disrespect because she was embarrassed that she had missed the doctors orders on the discharge papers. She immediately bit back at me in a nasty tone, and started spewing words saying that they had a full ER with two ambulances that had come in and a lobby full of people. I’ll tell you that there was three other people in the ER. There was not one soul in the lobby and no ambulances. Nurse Adrian continued on to say a few other snide comments as she walked out and blatantly slammed the door…twice! She then went and got the medication to administer, and on her way back her coworker says” are you OK”… And her response was “yeah normally I would keep my cool, but…”. Let me tell you something, in this world that we’re in, If we don’t advocate for ourselves within the medical system, we will get forgotten. My daughters meds would not have been administered that night had I not asked the question. An appropriate response would’ve been “oh my thank you so much for reminding me I’ll be right back“ or something of the nature. In no way shape or form should she have bit at me, raised her voice, or slammed the door in a medical environment. This type of Behavior can shut people down and stop them from advocating for themselves. I presume that was her goal and trying to create fear within us in regards to asking questions. Nurse Adriane, I truly hope that at some point you read this letter… I would be dead have I not advocated for myself over the last 10 years. There have been more mistakes made within my care team than I can even remember. You should encourage self advocation and not get offended if you forget something. We’re all human and we all forget things. We understand it’s a working unit, but don’t be angry with patients because you forgot and are understaffed. I appreciate you showing up to work and take care of the patients but in no way, shape or form is it our fault that you guys cannot handle the few patients that you have. Possibly y’all should staff in the evening rather than telling patients, you’re understaffed because we’re in a small town and you don’t need a full staff at night. Clearly you do. Of all the businesses in the world… Medical staffing is not one that should be cut to save money.

Was treated well during emergency room check in to hospital check in. Treated with respect, explained process so we could understand and all test were ordered and done promptly. Staff from check in to nurses to emergency room doctor all top notch! Professional and clean facilities. Couldn’t be happier during a stressful situation.

The doctor and staff in the ER are very rude and uncaring. The ER doctor is extremely rude and brushed off everything I said and was concerned about regarding my heart and BP and numbness in my legs and feet, like I don't know what the heck I am talking about. The doctor even said his BP can be 200/120 and he is perfectly fine. I didn't feel cared for AT ALL. Just another number

Was seen for a possible coronary event and severe neck pain. Was taken back almost immediately and had a thorough work up by Dr. Raz and Nurse Maria. Both were compassionate and thorough. Dr. Raz listened to my concerns and was relaxed and NOT rushed. He gave thorough explanations and suggestions. He seemed to REALLY CARE which I have found lacking in other Health facilities. Thanks to everyone for making my stay comfortable and pleasant and for being so efficient as well as for providing an accurate diagnosis and care .

My grandma was in bad shape after a surgery that killed her , we moved her here to get proper care, and it was the best decision. She was with this hospital for about 3 weeks. The staff was very professional and took great care of grandma, aka Roberta, as well as us. Their hospitality was amazing. They were friendly, attentive ,and comforting. Special shout out to Sarah, Sam, Nicolette, and Becca for doing your best. You were amazing and so helpful. And treated our grandma with the most love and care, and comfort. We will never forget you guys. Or the rest of the staff that helped her . Thank you so much! Love, Shannon,Landon, and Roberta

One of their doctors(Michael Markosian) likes to opine online about how diabetes patients shouldn’t be given insulin, which is would kill them! Personally would be very wary of putting my health in their hands

Had a kidney infection. Was treated very fast and they made sure that I had what I needed to come home pain free..

Unfortunately I had the misfortune of breaking two of my toes today. I didn't have anyone to drive me to the hospital, so in the middle of a pretty nasty winter storm I mustered up enough strength to drive myself. In a lot of pain I manage to hobble my way to the front entrance of the hospital where I notice the front entrance greeter watching me. I arrive inside and say hello, I'm fairly sure I have at least one broken toe where should I go ? He (David) I believe (David W) says you came to the wrong entrance you need to go to the emergency room on the opposite side of the hospital. I said oh man, I'm in a lot of pain and can't hobble back to my car right now .... I then noticed a few wheelchairs and said can I use one of the wheel chairs. He (David) front entrance greeter stairs at me and says sure. Doesn't offer to help as I'm struggling with a shoe in one hand and a backpack in the other. I then ask for help, clearly in a lot of pain and having already explained that I more than likely have at least one broken toe. He definitely seemed annoyed to assist me, after I manage to get in the wheelchair he then says you really should just go back to your car and drive over to the emergency room and that I'll need to bring the wheelchair back to the front entrance. I then wheel myself off through the hospital, also first time using a wheelchair so needless to say help would have been very beneficial. The whole experience was a bit odd as this is the person that is setting the tone for what's already a nail biting experience of going to the hospital and dealing with an unpleasant experience. I'd say this probably isn't the best individual to be the face of the hospital as helping people doesn't seem to be his strong suite nor is being friendly and just left such a bad taste in my mouth I had to share my experience. Side note it did turn out I have two broken toes and will need to be off of my foot for 8-10 days so it definitely wasn't me just being overly sensitive. In case its helpful I was treated today 01/14/23 around 1:45pm ... everyone else was generally great and appreciate the doctor and his staff.
