Carson Tahoe Therapy - Carson City

I've had a poor experience here. It was too difficult for their office to receive an internal referral from my doctor. I finally gave up after trying multiple times for them to receive my referral both electronically and via fax. I wasted time and am going elsewhere

Never go here! Took son for speech therapy. Speech therapist, Bobbett Trace, tells us she will check to make sure our insurance covers it after we asked the specific cost for treatment. Tells us its 100% covered. 12 sessions later find out each visit is a 25 dollar copay (our insurance showed pending for the sessions before then). Nicky who works in the minden branch admits they messed up but will accept no responsibility for the 300 dollar "miscommunication." Says, "ultimately its the patient's responsibility and we only verify insurance AS A COURTESY." Will update review upon final resolution. Update 1: speech therapist, bobbett trace, once again, has refused to communicate after going almost 2 weeks without responding with her volunteering to call us back with information. Update 2: Contacted by Steve, the manager of the carson facility. He was extremely professional. Unfortunately, still informed me that they were not responsible for the miscommunciation of incorrectly informing me that my son's care was 100% covered. Information in their system's notes, our insurance info, did not match our actual information. I recommend you take your business to a place that can accurately bill and inform patients of costs for treatment. 0 accountability = 300 dollar bill. Sorry isnt enough.

Alarmingly deceptive and expensive for a medical provider. Charged four times other local therapy therapy offices. We even asked three times for an estimate and were given nothing. Found out later the facility's POLICY was to withhold estimate from patients. Was told we were "subsidizing" the cost of the hospital they own which is 15 miles away.

A very caring staff who worked to decrease my pain and help me gain the strength I needed following back surgery. A pleasant Facility with good equipment and well trained therapists.

Great physical therapist. I would have frequent flyer miles, if it was a thing.
