I have been going to therapy for my hand for a few years to try to recover from a botched surgery. Carroll Hand is the third place I have tried. I have been with them for almost a year now, and they are fabulous. McKinnon is the best therapist around, hands down! (pun intended). She is kind, compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and always professional. She is also very encouraging; she understands that it is not easy to accept that my hand may never fully recover, and she assures me that she will do all she can to help me through this. I truly appreciate and respect the kindness and professionalism of all those at Carroll Hand Therapy: McKinnon, Stephanie, and Shelby. And, I'm thrilled that I finally found a therapist who knows what she is doing.

This office is not professional and they are rude not listening to the patient. Friend of mine had been there 13 years ago and I went with him. I was told by Susan Carroll that I couldn't be with him. She told my friend that I was to go outside and wait for him and I was not allowed to be with him! It was summer and hot outside.13 years later 2023. I went to see if they had changed. But I was the patient this time and my friend had taken me there. Before I signed in I asked the female my friend had to be with me at all visits. She said he would not be allowed to go to the back with me. I told the female that was the same comment that Susan had told me 13 years ago. I said don't bill my insurance for the visit and I don't want to go to them if my friend can't be with me during each visit. My friend told me that one of the two females is Susan Carroll's daughter now. I'm a disabled nurse and they don't know who I am or why I need my friend to be with me. They could have asked me questions about my friend and they could have been professional about the situation but they didn't and I don't recommend this hand therapist office because the way the treat the patients family, friends, caregivers. Know your patients before being unprofessional. This office doesn't have my permission to contact me for anything. I'm not your patient! 952am 12/22/23

After sustaining a laceration on my index finger damaging a tendon, I was referred to Carrol Hand therapy. McKinnon and her friendly staff create an inviting environment with fun conversation and warm smiles. I could barely make a fist when I first came in and after a few weeks of therapy I am now able to go back to work and play guitar again! I regained 100% functionality of my finger! Highly recommend Carrol hand therapy to anyone rehabilitating their hands.

When I arrived at this facility, I was very disillusioned because after 6 months and 18 sessions of therapy my hand still was swollen and very painful (I had thumb surgery). I have now had 6 sessions and Stephanie has made my life so much better. The swelling is down and the pain is WAY better. I could not recommend this group more highly. They are wonderful.

McKinnon Carroll had my swollen hand with broken pinky in functioning shape after only a few visits. The exercises she prescribed, combined with in-office therapy and exercises were very effective. This is Carroll’s field of expertise, their specialty, and everyone there is highly knowledgeable, pleasant, and concerned with getting patients healed.

After shoulder surgery I was expertly evaluated and shown the appropriate exercises. I rehabbed well and back to painless shoulder movement with better range of motion. Highly recommend this office as they do know what they are doing.
