Julianne was an absolute delight to work with, and she dug in during our weekly sessions to help my one-year-old baby Locke learn to walk. Her insights were comprehensive: she was constantly reassessing his posture, muscle growth, and confidence as he made strides (ha) toward walking. She also made these sessions fun! She engaged him at his level, was constantly noting things he liked, and strove to entertain even when they had to engage in difficult and frustrating training. We're all going to miss seeing Julianne, but we're so glad she was the one to assist Locke in learning to walk! Thanks to the whole incredibly friendly staff!

This group was phenomenal I’m not only diagnosing, but also treating our girl. They made sure she was comfortable, I was okay and all was planned ahead to ensure success for our daughter. The swallow therapist did an amazing job helping us as parents understand how to better help our daughter eat things she stopped eating or refused to. She even celebrated her progress from the tiniest level up to graduating quickly from her swallow therapy sessions. The Occupational Therapist was incredibly understanding, patient and customized each meeting to what our daughter needed or felt. She even pulled out some Paw Patrol tricks to keep our daughter motivated never pushing her beyond where she was that day. We received homework, but if we had a hectic week we weren’t chastised or made to feel anything negative throughout this time with them (many months). I’m beyond grateful we were seen quickly (compared to other locations we had reached out to), that our daughter was trusting of each person she came into contact (that’s a biggie) and we felt we were in the best care throughout our time with them. Cannot recommend them enough!

They keep Screwing us over on our appointments, giving them to others and then saying oh we can't do that anymore after we confirmed the appointment.

My two and a half year old son with Down syndrome receives home services from Carolina Pediatric Therapy. We have three therapists who come to our home for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/feeding therapy. My husband and I have been very impressed by all of the therapists. They are professional and knowledgeable in their fields and have a gift for helping children. They help us to identify developmental goals for my son and therapies we can perform during the week. They are patient with my son and work with him on his level. I highly recommend them! I have found it is very nice to have all three of his therapists at the same practice. They see each other in the office and can talk to each other about what they are working on with my son. I recommend Sally for physical therapy, Liz for occupational therapy, and Catherine for speech therapy.

We LOVE Carolina Pediatrics! My son receives OT from Taylor and Speech from Michelle and they are the most amazing therapists. They are both so caring and the communication is wonderful. Update: We’re still at Carolina Peds and love it! They’re like family. Always welcoming us with a smile on their faces. ❤️

Brooke is incredible with my four year old son. She's fun, patient and engaging. His speech has improved a lot and I'm excited to watch him develop with her support.

We saw a pediatric physical therapist here in fall of 2020 for mobility concerns with our daughter. We were able to get in quickly, which surprised me. However, the therapist we were scheduled with was inexperienced to the point of causing more harm than good. She seemed completely unable to read and interpret my 18 month old daughter's emotional state; instead of warming up slowly, getting comfortable first, or even including me in the session ("hey mom, can you see about trying this?"), she just grabbed my daughter and started doing things. Laying her on her stomach on the wooden stairs (we don't have stairs at home, so a stranger picking her up and putting her on an unfamiliar object was scary), flipping her this way and that, not allowing her to reach for the edge of a platform for stability when trying to assess how she stands, all the while completely ignoring my daughter's escalating cries and signs of distress. When I asked questions, I got vague answers that felt dismissive. Halfway through the second session, when my daughter was completely hysterical and red-faced crying, I picked her up and said we were done. The therapist looked completely shocked, and it took me repeating that we were done and were leaving before it seemed to register that the session wasn't going well. I called the practice afterwards and asked to speak with the practice manager; the receptionist referred me to the director for physical therapy. I called and left a message; she called me back during nap so I couldn't answer, however, I called back 3-4 times (and left a voicemail so she would know it was me) but never got a response. I saw other therapists at the practice who looked engaged and responsive, with kiddos who seemed to love their therapists, so I'm hoping that our experience was an anomaly. However, due to the complete lack of responsiveness by the practice when I tried to share my concern and find a solution, we will not be returning, ever.

I bring my son to see Mrs. Brenda for speech therapy. She is amazing and does such a great job with him. He has already learned so much in a matter of weeks. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I love that they go out of their way to assist my family. Its such a relaxing and family friendly environment. I would definitely recommend bring your family here.
