Carolina Kidz Therapy

Carolina Kidz has been phenomenal with my son for going on two years. He feels at home when he is there, and treated like family. All the staff is great, and they do their job with care and passion. I’d recommend this place to anyone with a child who needs therapy. I have also learned so much with guidance from Carolina kidz.

Today was my first time actually at the clinic. So, I'm not sure how or aware of how things work or flow in a clinical setting, but I would like to think that customer service would still be at the forefront of a business. But I walked into the office today with my son with no greeting or nothing from staff. (All 3 ladies just looked preoccupied), so I stood to the glass for a bit while they sat there and didn't even address my presence at the window. So I sat down and waited to see if anyone was going to come to the window to assist me... nothing! So I got up, I started walking around and reading the informative flyers on the walls and I sat back down...still nothing. So I finally got back up and went to the window again (already a bit irritated) and tapped on the window for assistance. Finally, someone decided to get up, smh. After giving my information, I was then handed a clipboard of forms to complete (that I couldn't have been preparing for completion once I got there if I was ever initially assisted or halfway acknowledged me), nothing of an apology, "sorry for the wait" or "how can help you?" Nothing! Super unprofessional. Mrs. Briana Hurley was my son's pathologist who conducted his evaluation, and SHE was amazing. She is very knowledgeable, talked me through her evaluation, and was so patient with my son. She even shared at home tips to keep consistent and different tools I could use to aid his progress and next steps. (She's 10 STARS!!!) Again, I'm new in the office, and first impressions are last impressions. I just hope today was just an off day for staff that was in the reception area during this time. I did not feel welcomed, and I drove too far, but 5 sake of my son, I still slapped a smile on my face and kept it moving.

The owners here are phenomenal. Love how caring and dedicated they are to the people they serve. Would for sure recommend them to others.
