Carbon Health Urgent Care Antioch - Slatten Ranch

I came in with a deep cut on my finger. I called ahead to verify my insurance would be accepted and they had a room already prepped for me upon arrival. The staff was very professional and direct and had me stitched up with an updated Tetanus shot. I was in and out within twenty minutes. They even brought the Apple Pay machine directly to me while I sat in the chair to settle my copay. Painless visit. Hopefully I don’t require their services again but if I do this place is where I’ll go. Thank you to everyone who attended to me this afternoon. Your service and professionalism is greatly appreciated!

Edit - I rarely take the time to edit. Please be careful before entering this store. I was charged multiple times on my credit card, when I visited them I clearly asked if visit is covered and they said “Yes. Credit card is just for profile” After 2 charges I got an email for a 3rd charge today (for a visit I took in August!). Looks like they are charging credit cards multiple times without authorization for individual transactions, I am going to discuss with my credit card and I requested a detailed billing charges email for all transactions Originally - Very quick to schedule and nice staff. They are pretty responsive even after tests and would answer questions anytime on the app.

This is the third time that I have been to Carbon in Antioch for an urgent care appointment. Each time I have been very impressed. I have never had to wait when I’ve come in by appointment. The staff is very professional, and the service providers are thorough and compassionate. I highly recommend them.

It went well. All you have to do on your Pre-Employment Drug Screening is show up at least 10 minutes early, bring in your paperwork that has the barcode attached, and have your ID ready. My recommendation to people would be to make an appointment online before you go because you may be able to set a same day appointment at a convenient time for you.

Excellent, personalized medical care. Once upon a time there were friendly neighborhood family doctors who knew your name, who could always fit you in, and you could reach them directly by phone. Corporate medical organizations bought out or squeezed out the family practices. Impersonal care took over, with a central telephone number for multiple locations for scheduling and customer service. Lost the humanity. Because of the reduction in primary care doctors, the corporate practices overflowed appointments into hospital-affiliated urgent care centers. Impersonal, disconnected care here, too. These soon also became booked out and hard to get an appointment. Then the corporate medical organizations had to affiliate with these strip-mall storefront urgent care centers like Carbon Health to meet the healthcare needs of the growing community. Well, things have come full circle. Carbon Health is like having your own friendly neighborhood doctor again. You can reach them directly by phone, they remember you, they reach out to you personally, they are able to see you when you need it. No waiting. No overbooked practice. It’s good.

I went online to schedule my appointment. It was very easy. Check-in was very easy. The staff is always nice. This was my second visit. The wait time was very minimal and the care that I got from the front office staff to the doctor in the office was great.

Dr. Singh was very thorough and explained in detail, everything to me. Very nice office staff. Was in & out quickly for having 3 tests & breathing treatment.

This Carbon Health Urgent Care walk-in clinic in Antioch in Slatten ranch is amazing! I’ve had pertussis (whooping cough) — no fun, believe me. Coughing fits so violent they suck the air out your lungs and leave you gasping for air. Long-haul healing for me worsened by asthma, bad wheezing and lung infection. PA Singh and the intake Nurse are excellent — friendly, listen well, and quick to respond to all your symptoms. They will be my go-to when I can’t get into my Primary which lately only is booking 2 months out.
