This rehab was referred to us by our case manager at Kaiser. She said it's one of the best ones near our house. We brought my mom here after her hip surgery. We are so glad my mom is here. The staff are super friendly. The nurses and CNAs are very nice, always smiling, and patient. The physical therapists and occupational therapists do a great job helping my mom recover.

Everyone at Canyon Place were very helpful and professional. My first time visiting a friends mother who just had hip surgery. The staff were all very kind and generous with their time to make sure they heard our concerns and was promptly taken care off. Canyon looked very clean and hospitable. Other than the heat outside, it was pleasant to just hang out inside beyond the lobby/living room.

Absolutely the worst nursing home I have ever seen. My current patient who is in there had not been bathed for two weeks. They change their diaper once in the morning, and it does not get changed until it is night. The patient has been being abused by this facility. My patient is afraid to ask for anything, and had been accused of things they have not done. They preach about patients rights, but they them selves do not abide by them. It is smelly, and gross. When the patient asks for female nurse to wipe them because they are uncomfortable with a male nurse, their request is not met. The WORST possible place to put your loved ones.

My mom entered Canyon Oaks on September 13th and will come home on Wednesday October 2. For the 18 days that my mom will have been a patient, we have nothing but good things to rave about. The staff is exceptional. From the people at the front desk to the nurses, PT, OT, doctors, social workers everyone has been so helpful and kind. When your parent (or loved one) enters a SNF it is very difficult. I can’t tell you the number of times someone asked ME if I needed something while visiting my mom.

I was here for about 3 weeks and was treated with only kindness and respect. Even the food was good; fresh and what you ordered. One nurse/caretaker in particular, Teresa Mendoza, an angle on earth, did everything in her power to make me comfortable in a time of great pain. They got me through it and I thank them for it.

Visited a friend today who’s admitted for post hospital rehab. The facility is well maintained with a classic aesthetic including beautiful artwork, courtyard and flowers that greet you at the main entrance. Check in was pleasant, secure and quick with a friendly receptionist. The nursing staff were friendly and accommodating as well.
