Excellent and beautiful California Rehabilitation Institute. All nurses that took care of me were all friendly, caring & very professional. Thank you California Rehabilitation Institute also 5 star on all the food.

California Rehabilitation Institute is, by far, the best place that anyone could go to for rehabilitation after hospitalization. It is a an acute rehabilitation facility, where patients receive 3 to 4 hours of therapy per day and approximately 15 hours of therapy each week. My 95-year-old mother received outstanding nursing care, medical supervision & treatment, and multiple modes of therapy while she was there for a 14-day stay. She was treated by a fantastic team of physicians who visited her daily (sometimes multiple times a day) while she was recovering after a recent hospitalization for a serious illness. CalRehab is not a skilled nursing facility (SNF). It is an acute rehabilitation facility with a program that is unique in Southern California. Throughout her stay, my mother engaged fully with all of the therapists and as a result, she achieved an amazing level of strength, and she recovered the skills needed for independent living. The case managers work with the family to ensure that patients will have everything that they will need in order to continue their recovery and maintain their independence upon returning home. If I could award more than five stars, I surely would.

California Rehab Institute is outstanding. The level of service and quick response, and most importantly the quality of care and positive attitude are excellent. Personally, I would like to commend my occupational therapist, Hannah for her professionalism and dedication. Above all, my dedicated PT, Adam, is remarkable. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, empathetic, and has helped me make incredible progress in just a few short days. He has encouraged me in such a way that enabled me to believe I could do things that felt out of reach. He has a true vocation and goes above and beyond in every way. I know I will achieve my goals before I’m discharged.

My dad is in the facility now. He can be a demanding patient. The facility has been fabulous. They are very invested in helping him recover from his surgery and return to his independent lifestyle. The PT and OT have all been so dedicated and professional. The greatest asset of the facility is truly their staff who genuinely cares. Big shout out to Marlene for always helping out with a smile.

Elsa and the crew were wonderful. Top-notch physical therapy, good rehab, and excellent medical care. Really a great place. Suggestion for future cases if it would be possible for the case manager to coordinate a week early for the needs for discharge planning this would optimize care. Has been a wonderful experience.

This has been my first experience with major surgery snd it was scary. But the Doctors, Nurses OTs PTs , food service patient care reps, cleaning staff, and the rest of the full staff at California Rehab Institute have Been beyond stellar in every single department in ever single step of the way. Every. single person, I mean each and every one knows your situation what your needs are How to explain your medications and why you need what you are taking In just a few weeks.. They know when you’ve had a mis-step and help you to correct it on your own. They are a mighty Team. Their goal is to usher you from inability on your way to self secure ability and bsck into your journey as an able person. My only regret is having to leave before my full recovery. The care I have received exceeded all expectations I had having never been in rehab before. The physical rehabilitation headed by Mikel and Brian and the staff of therapists showed genuine concern to achieve the goals we discussed and my progress improved quickly each day. The nursing staff along with the housekeeping and dietary staff were always quick to resolve any issues. The meals were delicious properly seasoned and never bland. I would highly recommend your consideration in the event you are searching for a facility subject to them having an opening at the time. You won't be disappointed. ~Keith Corneliuson

We have had two different patients stay at the rehabilitation center. On for stroke recovery and another for nerve damage. Both instances exceeded our expectations. Staff is very strict with covid prevention procedures (as they should) the therapists, doctors and nurses are all knowledgeable. The facility and rooms are clean (spotless is a better term). Highly recommend this place.
